It was 4:36 am exactly when I was awoken to the sound of something hitting my window. I was a little groggy when I got up to open my curtains.

"shit" I said to myself as I stubbed my toe on the side of my bed.

I reached the window and saw something that I thought I'd never see. There I saw Luke Hemmings, the hottest most baddest boy from my school.

"What are you doing at my house this late at night?" I tried to quietly ask him.

"I was hoping that you would go on a date with me." He replied back.

"At quarter til 5 am?!" I was taken back by the question.

"Well yeah, I find the nighttime more exciting then daytime." he replied

He must've been crazy thinking that I would sneak out and go on a date with him. I have never done anything bad in my life and I don't intend to start now. Although my mom would be too drunk to notice, my father on the other hand would hang Luke and I both by our necks.

"No, I am not sneaking out with you. I'm going back to sleep and you need to leave. I don't want my dad hearing." I explained to him.

He gave me a smirk and just walked off.

That smirk gave me chills up my spine. Obviously he was the most attractive guy at school, but he was the biggest player too. I have been told that he's had sex with over 10 different girls. I don't want to fall for a boy like that, but he has those baby blue eyes and that dirty blonde hair. He recently got a lip ring and when he plays with it in math class I can help but stare. I try to stop myself but I can't do it. At the same time, I hate him. I hate the way he treats girls. He lures them in and right when he's done having fun with them, the throws them to the side and acts like he's never seen them before. He cocky, a jerk, and he thinks he can control everything and everyone. But no, not me.

............

I woke up that morning with only about 30 minutes of sleep after Luke showed up at my house. I couldn't help but think about him and why he would've been at my house. Boys like him and girls like me don't mix, that's just how my high school works.

"Lucy, why on earth would you go to school dressed like your a nun, I thought you actually wanted a boyfriend" My mother slurs to me as I walk down the wooden stairs into the kitchen.

It's obvious that she's been up all night downing all the vodka we own. She does this whenever my dad "works late nights" when he's clearly with his slut secretary.

"Mother, stop I don't need a boyfriend, nor want one. And I am going to school like this. Thank You." I explained

"Why do you have to be so prudish?" She asks me as I slam the door in her drunken face.
