"This feels wrong." Leigh sighed.
"Shush you, before I slip and make you look like Jar Jar Binks." Bailey snickered, pulling the strands of hair into a weird three bobbed ponytail. "He's definitely an underestimated character. Did you know that he was most likely Sith?"
Leigh snickered. "No way. He has no force abilities. But seriously, I mean this feels wrong, crashing the wedding."
"You can't crash a wedding when you've been invited to it." Bailey's fingers made quick work of the elaborate braiding and curling of Leigh's hair. "Your job in all of this is to look pretty and badass, and not complain about the whats and hows. This will be pulled off without a hitch, but try to actually have fun with it."
"With Star Wars hair and get up." Leigh pinched her lips as to not say anything else. Her mind was racing as fast as her heart. She knew that the watching the man she had been enamored with, in love with, was outside somewhere, ready to marry someone else.
"No, we're doing a silent protest and paying homage to Star Wars Day so no pouting. You will ruin your makeup."
"I can't help it. It's the day for him and torture for me."
"I know. So weird how things changed and now this whole wedding is Star Wars themed amazingness. I heard it was the only way there could be a wedding here in short notice as they are having the same decorations throughout for multiple weddings... There."
"What?"
"Wow, you look just like Padme... but with red hair and green eyes."
"Dressing up for the wedding is seriously so fun, albeit annoying. This is like a dream wedding with my dream man with his dream woman who isn't me. That's the true death star."
Bailey chuckled. "Try the Jedi mind meld with him?"
"I can only imagine. I can still feel him on my skin, his breath undressing me."
"Maybe that's why Vader breathes so heavy?"
Leigh snickered. "I am sure that's because he's secretly allergic to the plastic mask. Probably not Bpa."
They laughed as the door swung open and Bailey's little sister walked in with a kind smile. "Time, it is." She giggled.
"Aw, Savannah is too cute." Leigh sighed. She was dressed as a little princess Leia in a white dress and yarn hair buns glued on a headband.
Bailey stood up and took Savannah's hand, walking her out of the room. Leigh reluctantly followed.
They opened the door to a large room. Each table had light sabers on the table and the glasses were etched with symbols representing the bride and the groom, respectively.
A large disco ball death star hung precariously above everyone as everyone started to hush and take their seats, all dressed in every kind of Star Wars themed outfit, most not visibly recognizable.
Leigh noticed all eyes averted to look at her as she moved to a nearby seat on the aisle.
Then she saw him.
He was walking down the aisle with a purpose, wearing the same Vader costume that he had before and truly looked like a dark night glinting in the candle light.
But he stopped right in front of Leigh and her breath hitched.
He dropped down in front of her, bowing as Bailey pushed Leigh to her feet.
From her view, she could see all eyes were on her, but there was no bride in sight.
"What's going on?" She asked, but everyone just smiled, watching.
