Tobias' POV
We showed the initiates the Pit and take them to the dorm rooms (trying as hard as possible to ignore the looks we get from Zoe and Tanner) "These are your beds. Change into the Dauntless clothing that we have laid out for you and meet us in the pit at 8. If you are late, you will be sorry." I say. with that, Chris says, "So we're ALL staying in here!? What if someone gets pregnant or something?! This is completely illogical." I start to answer him but Tris steps in and says, "Well, if you are illogical enough to not use protection, I suppose you will just have to finish the rest of training and your time in Dauntless being pregnant or raising a child!" After that, no one asked any more dumb questions.
Everyone made it to the pit on time, so I start explaining. "Today we will start the first part of training! We will put your physical abilities to the test by having you fight until one of you can't fight anymore."
"You will spend this first day learning fighting techniques, your strengths, and you're weaknesses." says Tris. Everyone looks horrified.
I can already tell that the initiates are afraid of us.
The rest of the day was normal: A relationship between Charlie and Emily has started, Zoe and Tanner seem to be devising a plan of sorts, Eric checked in on us a couple times and everyone else tried not to cause trouble. Tris and I have officially become successful Dauntless trainers. Satisfied with our job well done, we walk back to our apartment hand-in-hand.
