I woke up to the sound of Andrea singing in the kitchen. Wait when did Andrea get here? And when did I fall asleep? I checked my phone and saw that it was 11 in the morning. I glanced over at the table and saw a bottle of vodka. That explains a lot. I felt a bounce on the couch. "Hot coffee cures a hangover!'' Andrea said. I rolled my eyes and smirked. She shoved the coffee cup into my hands and I drank it obediently. "We leave for Vermont tomorrow." She informed me. "Ugh don't remind me. Just snow and wind up there." I grumbled.
"Have you started packing?" She asked
"Umm let me get back to you on that.." I answered.
She laughed and stood up. "I can drive you home when you're ready." She informed me. I set the coffee cup down and followed her to her car. With Andrea 'when you're ready' means NOW. She turned up the radio even though my house is just a few blocks away. "I'll call you. But I should probably pack a bag first." I said as I jumped out of the car.
When I got inside my mom was sitting alone on the couch. "I'm leaving tomorrow Mama." I informed her. "I know darling. Pack warm clothes." She replied. I skipped up the stairs. I pulled out the same suitcase I had in Hawaii. I packed leggings and jeans and sweaters and sweatshirts and beanies and warm stuff. I have a feeling the cold weather is gonna kill me. I checked the clock and it's already 2:30. I grabbed my phone and saw notifications.

I picked up the mess I made packing my bag. "Sweetie Charles is here we're going out!" My mom called. "K love you!" I yelled back. I heard her leave and I went downstairs. Just a minute later Connor rang the doorbell. "Hey! Come in." I said. He stepped in awkwardly. "My moms gone out but you can stay awhile if you want." I said. He checked the time on his phone and agreed. We walked up the stairs and into my bedroom. "This is not what I pictured your room to look like." He said. "You've been picturing my room?" I asked with a giggle. He shrugged and pushed my shoulder lightly. We plopped down on the floor and looked on our phones for awhile. "I'm sorry about what I said in Hawaii." He said after about an hour of talking. "Don't be sorry. I just have made some really bad mistakes recently and I don't want you to be the next one." I said. "What kind of bad mistakes?" He asked. I was about to answer when my phone buzzed. It was from my mom saying that she would be staying at Charlie's again. He gave me a wondering look. "Well," I started pulling up all the nasty things I've done the past few months.
