When we got back home from the Georgia stop, it was raining pretty hard. I finally pulled into my driveway and hurried up the stairs to my living room. I set my bags down on the floor and flipped on the light. Nothing. Are you kidding me? I sat down at my table and shivered due to the lack of heat in my house. I grabbed my phone and called Ricky.

"Hey Rickers."

"Hi Natty what's up?"

"I have no power in my house, is there any chance I could stay with you?"

"Well, we don't have power either but you can still stay over."

"Okay I'm on my way."

I hung up and went back outside into the storm, to my car. When I drove by my mailbox I stopped to see if my house bill came. I opened up the door and to my surprise I found a letter from someone. No return address.

I'm back bitch

See you soon!

Love, Monica

Omigod Monica. Monica was Me and Andrea's best friend until her family moved in 10th grade. The three of us were inseparable. When she left Andrea and I were heartbroken. She promised us she would move back when she was old enough, but I never thought she actually would. We lost most contact with her since she moved away. She did have a YouTube channel though. Not wildly popular or anything but she's pretty good. Like 60k subscribers. I'm sure when I do see her again she'll make quite the entrance. She loves attention.

Once I made it to the boys' house I ran up to Kian's room. I opened the door and saw that him and Ricky were filming. I giggled and left quickly. I assumed that the power must be back on if they're filming. They didn't have lights on or anything. Sure enough, I turned on the light switch and brightness flooded the hallway. I walked down to Jc's room only to find him asleep. Big surprise. I saw Connors door was open so I decided to sneak up on him. As I was about to jump on him I saw that he was watching a video. MONICA'S video. I put my hand over my mouth. "I KNOW HER!" I yelled. He gasped and slammed his laptop shut. "What!? I wasn't watching anything!" He said quickly. "Yes you were! And I know her! And why are you being so defensive Connor?" I asked with a grin. "What? No r-reason." He stuttered. "Mmhmm. Yooouuuu like her." I said as I raised my eyebrows up and down. "No I don't!" He defended himself. I giggled. "Okay Con Con.. But just so you know, she was mine and Andrea's best friend in high school. And she's back in town!" I said as I walked out of the room.

The next day I got a text from Monica saying that she wants to meet up. We discussed the details and made plans to meet at Lemonade downtown. I got there first, not a big surprise. Monica is always fashionably late. About fifteen minutes late, she showed up wearing black skinny jeans, black high heel boots, and a dark blue tank top. She smirked and walked in my direction. "Natty, it's been too long." She said as she sat down across from me. "Monica how have you been? You're so.. Different." I said. "Change is good isn't it sweetheart." She said. "Yeah! Haha before you were all cardigans and no makeup." I said. We laughed and talked for about an hour until we decided to leave. Her long blonde curled hair bounced slightly as we walked down the street. "So are you seeing anyone?" I asked. She stayed silent for a second. The only noise was the clicking of her heels on the sidewalk. "No." She said quickly. "Well good because I have someone who would love to meet you." I said with a smirk.
