The Unexpected Turn

I woke up with this dream all scared and sweaty. I took a deep breath and ran my hands through my hair.
"Wait! I know those eyes." I talked to myself, trying to remember.
"That guy, the guy I bumped into at grill".
As soon as I realised it was him I called Bonnie and asked her to come over. She stopped by my place in 10 minutes. I explained everything to her, she asked me to show her the guy later today.

Afternoon

I was still thinking about the dream trying to find the reason I dreamt about some random guy I just met. To me it was kind of......Creepy.

Bonnie and I went to a nearby store to buy a few things for my home. There he was standing right opposite to the store. I dragged Bonnie to the window and pointed towards him.

"He is the guy, I met in the grill and then dreamt about." I said.
"He.... He is Damon Salvatore... um...ah... Stefan's brother." She said, all confused.
"Stefan.... as in Elena's boyfriend... Stefan." I replied.
"Yep" she said and started to move out of the store.
"Wait, where the hell are you going?" I inquired still processing on the thought.
"To talk to him." She replied me confidently and before I could ask any other question she left.

I watched Bonnie approach him through the window, I saw her almost shouting at him. The only thing I could tell by their actions was that they were arguing and they definately don't like each other. Bonnie came back to the store, peeped inside and the shouted, "We are leaving. C'mon."
I followed her to the car without saying word.

Few hours later....

Bonnie dropped me to my place few hours earlier and I sat on the couch watching TV .
*mobile phone ringing*
"Hey, Kate its me elena."
"Hey! Sup?"
Actually I was planning a small get togther tonight, I'll introduce you to Stefan officially. I know you guys will get along."
"Fine with me. What time?"
"Eight. And be there at sharp eight. I'm not taking excuses today."
"Okay. What about Bon and Care, they comin??"
"Yeah!"
"Okay! I'll be there."
"See you tonight"
"See you"
I disconnected the phone and checked the time, it was six already so I decided to get dressed decently.
I wore a black chiffon shirt with blue denims along with my hair down.

*****Elena's place*****

I knocked the door. Elena oped it and dragged me inside. "Stefan's not here yet so we get some girls time." We started talking about our livies while arranging the table for the dinner. I heard the door knock.
"Can you take that Kate?" Elena asked politely.
"Sure."
I got to the door and opened it and found Damon instead of Stefan on the doorstep. He ignored me completely and walked inside.
"So waiting for your boyfriend??" He asked Elena.
"Yeah! Is there a problem." She replied bluntly
"Nah...! I was just saying that maybe he can'nt come." He was smirking
"What did you do Damon?" Elena walked towards him angry.
"Hey, calm down I did'nt do anything. He went to the woods for his bunny diet and has'nt come back and with the tomb vampires out I don't think thats a good sign."
"What do you mean? He is in danger." Elena was worried.
"Yep. Thats what I'm guessing. You know maybe I'm not right." He said calming her down
"Yeah you're never right." Bonnie interrupted.
She walked to Elena and calmed her down.
Caroline and Damon left for the woods. Bonnie was doing a locator spell and they asked me and Elena to stay home and wait.
