"Nora." Yato narrowed out his eyes and looked over to the regalia he hasn't meet for so long.
A regalia he never wanted to meet.
She let out a sinister smile.
Yato holds in a tight grasp and yelled out, "WHERE IS YUKINE????"
"Hm?" She raises her hand on to her mouth, covering it. "What are you talking about, Yato?"
"I KNEW YOU DID SOMETHING TO YUKINE!"
She puckered her eyebrows. "I don't," she said briefly.
Yato still holding on to his grasp, clenching his teeth in the process.
"C'mon, Yato. Is Yukine the only one you're looking for?" Nora said, her sinister smile is still forming on her face.
"Why would I be looking for you? I've released you, Nora."
She chuckled.
"Because I'm the better regalia for you. I'm still unoccupied. You sure you don't want me? It's never too late, Yato. I could be the best regalia you've ever had. Much stronger. Much better. I could make you a famous god. A god that everyone knows and talks about."
He went silent as he tried to calm himself down.
Nora lifts up her eyebrows at him. "What do you say, Yato?"
"There's no point of being famous for killing people. I don't want to be a 'god of calamity' anymore. I want to become a 'god of fortune'. A god that can bring people happiness. Which is why—I don't want to be with you, Nora."
"You're pathetic," She narrowed out her eyes at him and walked backwards, making herself to fade away slowly.
He glanced up to see Nora has no longer there. He took a deep breath in relief knowing Nora is no longer there. However, the feeling of worry is still burden inside him.
Just then, a vibrating sound came out of his pocket. Yato takes out his phone and read the message that were sent by a certain someone.
Hiyori: Yato, you can go home now. Yukine has returned.
Yato: HE DOES?????
Hiyori: Yes, but...
Yato: But?
Hiyori: Not in a good way.
