Ch. 6: Long way 'round

SORRY AGAIN FOR THE SLOW UPDATES BUT I'M KINDA BUSY WITH SCHOOL AND GETTING A NEW LAPTOP ;-;

And my parents are gonna divorce soon... I'm just in shock but I'll try to get over it soon...

You follow E through the white hallways of Spaceship L.A. It all looks very futuristic, which makes sense, since you ARE in the future. How? No one knows, but you'll just have to roll with it (my stories in a nutshell). Even though everything looks really pretty and cool, something is off. You can't figure out what it is, until E starts talking.
"It's really quiet out here... that's weird." She whispers. You look around and notice that except for you two, there is no one out there. You feel a bit uncomfortable, but you're not sure why.
After she walks around a corner, E
suddenly stops in her tracks. "Y/N... back away, now. Slowly..." she whispers, quietly walking backwards. "What is it?" You whisper back. "Giamonds. A whole group of 'em." E says, trying not to make any noises. "Oh crap..." you whisper, noticing blood on the floor a few meters in front of you.
Once you and E are sure the Giamonds won't hear you, she looks at you, fear in her eyes. "Okay Y/N... now we know why there was no one there... I just hope Hendrik is okay..." E says. "Hendrik?" You ask her, confused. "Hendrik von Schneeplestein. That's his full name." E explains. You nod. "Wait, what about the person Doctor Schneeplestein was cloned from? What was his name?" You ask. "His name was Sean... Sean William McLoughlin. Why?" E answers. "Maybe we should first try to find him? We obviously can't reach the Health & Care with those Giamonds right there." You say, proud of the great idea. "That's brilliant! He must be in the clone lab. Clones can't be awake when the original isn't connected to the special machines used for cloning. If Sean is in there, Doctor Schneeplestein is most likely alive! If Sean isn't there, Schneeple is either asleep or dead." E says. You nod. "Well, where is the clone lab?" You ask. That's when E frowned. "At the Health & Care..." she says. "Okay... what about your other friends? And can't we just run past the Giamonds?" You ask. "No, the Giamonds are the quickest creatures in the universe. We'd get caught. We could take the long way around, but I can't guarantee your safety." E says. "Ethan would know what to do... no, he most likely wouldn't, but he'd help me come up with something... I miss him..." she whispers to herself.

Sorry for the short chapter... but as you may have seen at the top of the chapter, my parents are divorcing soon... and everything is just a mess. I don't have anyone to talk to here, and I just don't feel good...
