Gender?

Im really sorry for not updating for so long. School's been hectic lately. Ive also been having trouble figuring out the structure of this chapter🙇. Sorry if its horrible.
Forgive me😫.

                             20 weeks

~Jay~

Right now Erin's twenty weeks pregnant aka 5 months and we get to find out the gender. We're both excited about today.

Her doctors appointment is at 12:30 and its 11:45 right now.

Erin's been up since 10 o clock looking for something that fits.

"Jay i cant find anything to wear" she says as she throws all her clothes out of her cuboard. I  sigh as i know i'll be the one picking those up.

"Baby we'll just go shopping for maternity clothes after the appointment" i say as she sighs sadly.

"But i need something now" she whines looking at me from across the bedroom.

"Then just wear one of my shirts and some leggings. Who you tryna look sexy for?" i smirk and she just laughs.

"Ive got a boyfriend. Durrrh. Jay youre so blonde" she says as she picks out the t-shirt that says 'Mr Halstead' i remember Kim getting us couples t-shirts last christmas.

"Well im pretty sure you look beautiful in anything you wear" i tell her as she smiles.

"Thank you baby" she says as she checks the time on her phone.

"Jay get in the shower and get dressed its 12:00" she says as she rushes to the guest bathroom down the hallway from our room.

I laugh and set my outfit out on the unmade bed and head to the shower.

I wash my hair and myself all in ten minutes. I get out of the shower and wrap a towel around my waist and brush my teeth.

I wash my face and start getting dress.

Once im done i head out to the kitchen to see Erin eating breakfast.
She's been having  these weird cravings lately.
Right now shes eating cereal with pickels.

Gross.

"Jay stop worrying about what im eating and get done so we can leave" she says laughing, noticing that i was staring at her.

I grab my keys off the counter and get my coat.

"Comon we're already late Erin" i say taking her already emty plate and putting it in the sink.

She gets up from the bar stool and starts walking to the door.

She grabs her coat and heads to the car out front.

I walk out after her and lock the front door.

I hop in the car and head to Med.

Its 12:15.

Wow.. we were really fast.

"Jay, you nervous?" asks erin fiddling with her seatbelt.

"Not really, i'll be fine with any gender. Im more excited though. To find out" i say smiling a bit.

We arrive at Med 10 minutes later.

I get out of my car and walk around to help Erin out.

"Thank you" she mutters as i smile done at her.

I take her hand in mine and walk towards the enterance. We're greeted by Natalie at the front desk.

"Hey Linstead, youre just in time for your check up"

I mentally roll my eyes at the shipment name, Erin seems to love it.

"Hey Naty" i smile greeting her.
She smiles and nods.

Natalie leads us to our private room.

Erin takes her coat off and sits down on the hospital bed. I sit down in the chair next to the bed.
Natalie walks out and pages Erin's doctor.
:Dr Reese will be assisting Erin through her pregnancy.

Erin seems a bit nervous as we sit in silence.

"Baby you okay? " I say chuckling a bit as she glares at me.

"Jay I'm nervous, aren't you" she says sighing.
"I am but I'm mostly excited right now" I say as she smiles.

"I love you" she says smiling softly.
"I love you too" I say smiling at her.

Just then Dr Reese enters the room.
"Good Afternoon guys" she says smiling

"Hey" Erin and I greet her.

"Erin we're just gonna follow through the normal procedure okay" she says as Erin nods and lifts up her shirt to be examined.

"Everything looks great. The baby's perfectly  healthy and in good shape. You're five months. Would you like to find out the gender" she exclaims excitedly.

Erin laughs and nods her head in agreement.

"Can't wait" I say laughing.
Dr Reese goes back to examining Erin to find out the gender.

"Its a little boy!" she says happily.

A little boy.

"I'll give you two a moment while I print these sonograms" says Reese as she walks out the door.

"Oh my gosh Jay,  we're having a little boy" says Erin as she wipes a few tears that were making itself known.

"This is crazy baby." I say smiling down at her as she laughs.

"I can't wait to tell Hank" she says excitedly.

"I love you Erin" I say as she smiles.
"I love you too" she says as i lean down and peck her lips.

As on queue Reese comes back with four pictures.
One for us, hank and Natalie.
Erin's been wanting to ask her to be the godmother, so obviously she gets a picture.
I don't know who the fourth one is for though.

Anyway.

We schedule our next appointment which is next month for our monthly check up.

We say our goodbyes and head to our car..

"Erin? " I ask once we're in the car.

"Yes Jay? " she replies as i start the car and head home.

"Who's the fourth picture for? " I ask casually.

She hesitates to answer, she sighs.

"It's for Bunny"
