Pregnant?

Its been three months since Jay and i made up. Ive been throwing up everything i eat. I feel tired every second of the day.

I spoke to Natalie about it..she thinks im pregnant. But i dont know for sure yet. I havent told Jay about it yet. I know we've talked about kids before but i dont know if he still wants that with me after everything we've been through.

Right now Jay's at work alone today because i threw up thrice this morning and he insisted that i stay home. This gives me the chance to find out if im really pregnant.

I hop in the shower and wash myself along with my hair. I decide to put on some sky blue skinny jeans with a baby pink coloured sweater. I put on my black coat.

I walk over to the mirroir and dry my hair with my hair dryer. I brush it out into waves and put on my black beanie along with some eyeliner and lip gloss. I put on my black wedged ankle  boot and walk into the kitchen.

Since im basically gonna throw up again decide to eat something light.
I grab a yogurt cup out of the fridge and an apple from the fruit basket on the middle of the counter.

I pick up my phone and call Natalie to let her know im coming to see her today.

I dial her number and after the third ring she picks up..

"Hey Nat" i say casually
"Hey Erin whats up?" she asks
"Im on my way to you right now is that okay?"

"Yeah i dont start work for another couple of hours"
"Great.. I just really wanna get this over with..not knowing is killing me" i say knowing she knows exactly what im talking about.

"I cant wait!" she says excitedly. Shes really excited about the idea of me being pregnant.

"Yeah Nat i'll see you in a few" i say
"Yeah bye" she says as i end the call and start eating my light breakfast.

Once im done i throw my cup away and get my keys. I walk out the door into my car and drive to Chicago Med.

I arrive ten minutes later and park my car. I get out and lock the door. I walk into the hospital to see Will Halstead in a heated make out session with Natalie.

"Get a room" i say as they jump apart and turn around to face me.

"Hey Erin" they say embarrassed that they got caught.
"Halstead shouldnt you be working" i say raising my eyebrow.

He laughs a bit and says "Not for another hour or so..so i got nat all to myself" he smirks.

"Well erin came for an ultrasound so I'll see u later" natalie speaks up.

"Youre pregnant ? Erin thats great" he exclaims.

"Nooo..i dont really know yet. And why are you guys so excited. I dont even know if Jay wants a kid right now" i say.

"Jay loves kids Erin im sure he'll be thrilled" says Will.

"I hope youre right. Come on Nat say goodbye to lover boy over here and lets find out" i say as she kisses him goodbye and we walk into a private room.

She closes the door and i sit on the hospital bed.

"Lift up ur shirt. This might be cold" she says as i lift up my shirt.

She moves the detector thingy on my stomach and points to the screen next to us.

"Theres your baby" she says.

Its still small though but its the most beautiful thing i have ever seen. I instantly fall in love with this baby. I feel a few tears fall down my cheek.

"Its beautiful" i whisper as she smiles.

"How many pictures do u want me to print" she asks as i wipe the gel off my flat stomach.

"3 please, oh and before you go.. How far along am i ? "

"Youre 7 weeks along.. You should start showing at 12 weeks" she smiles.

She walks out the door to print the pictures. She comes back 5 minutes later with the pictures of my unborn child.

Natalie got paged so she had to go to work. On my way out will notices me and walks up to me.

"Sooo ?" he asks happily
"Im pregnant" i say sounding a bit sad
"You dont sound to happy about it" he frowns.
"Of couse im happy about it im just worried. I dont know how to be a mom. I dont even know how to cook let alone be a mom. Bunnys the only mom ive ever know. And im probably gonna mess it up" i say softly.

He pulls me into a hug and kisses me on my forehead.
"Youll do great erin dont worry bout it.. Jays gonna be so happy okay..Youll be okay." he says as he lets go of me.

"Thanks ginger" i say knowing he hates that name.

"Dont call me that" he says
"Ill stop when i feel like stoping" i say smirking
"So bossy" he says
"Hey" i laugh as i punch his arm.

"Hey i got you to smile" he says proud of himself.

"Thank you" i say as i hug him and bid my goodbyes and walk out to my car.
