the new spy

"Katelyn!!!" I complained as she crawled around Lafayette playing with his hair. "Whaaat!?" She whined
"It's ok ma Cherie!" Lafayette laughed
"Oooooh fancy!" Katelyn smiled at Lafayette. Lafayette and I laughed as Katelyn continued to play with Lafayettes hair. All the sudden Washington walked in the tent and looked at Katelyn. He froze and stared for a couple seconds
"why is she here!?" He yelled
"Johnathan!" I rolled my eyes once again. "I'll try my best to find out when the next train leaves" Washington sighed "make sure Johnathan leave with her! I will not allow her to go alone" I looked at Washington. He nodded and motioned for Hamilton to follow him as the both left Katelyn ran back up to me and motioned for me to pick her up "uppy uppy!" She yelled jumping up and down. I picked her up and swung her around in my arms

(btw this whole time I've been calling Mulligan Hercules so for now on IM calling him Mulligan!)

"Katelyn meet Mulligan and Laurens!" I smiled. Katelyn wave to both of them "and the one you were just playing with is Lafayette!" I laughed "laffy!!" Katelyn yelled as Lafayette stood up. She reached out to him as I put my arms out allowing him to hold her. He picked her up and put her on his shoulders. "I can see the world sissy!" Yelled Katelyn.
Lafayette laughed and put her down.

~time skip~

Lafayette and I tucked in Katelyn  on the bed Lafayette and I would normally sleep on. "Do you mind sleeping on the floor tonight?" I nervously asked Lafayette "of course I don't mind!" He smirked. I smiled back and exited the tent."Miss young!" I heard Washington call "yes sir?" I asked "meet me in my office"he added
Shit! Did I do something? I continued walking and eventually ended up I his office. "I have something to talk to you about" he began quietly and calm
"Yes?" I asked nervously "due to the past events this month I have a temporary roll for you." He added "and what is that?" I replied even more nervous "I will be sending you in to be a spy for the next two weeks" his words caused my heart to drop.
"Pa-pardon sir?" I hesitantly asked
"Lately some of our recruits have been going missing, I would like a spy to go examain the situation" he explained "I have gathered a red coat uniform from the recent attack" he continued "you will be heading there Tommorow on a horse from the stables, choose anyone of your choice" he Finnished.  I nodded my head and made my way out of the room holding the uniform. 
I walked back in the tent. I see Hamilton whrighting a letter on the ground "whered the guys go?" I asked "they told me to tell you they went to the bar" he mumbled "are you gonna go?" I asked "I have to whright a couple letters" he added as he looked up at me "mind watching Katelyn?" I asked "I don't mind" he smiled as he went back to whrighting "thanks!" I said while walking out of the tent.
I got to the bar and see the three guys sitting and laughing. I walk up and sit beside Lafayette who looks fairly sober. "Bonjour ma Cherie!" Lafayette smirked as he kissed me on the forehead. He suddenly noticed I wanted to tell him something and his face went to confusion "what's whrong?" He asked "I need you to take care of Katelyn" I began
"Why? Where are you going?"He got worried "I'll be spying on the British for two weeks starting Tommorow" he looked at me concerned than smirked slightly. I looked back at him concerned "please! Do not get hurt!" He pushed a strand of hair out of my face. I looked into his eyes and tried to look away, I couldnt help but lean in towards him and kiss him.
I let go and smiled while looking down to the side and smiling. "Now go get ready" he laughed
I nodded and kissed him on the cheek as I jumped out of my chair and walked away.

The next morning I woke up and washed the blood off the uniform. I patched the bullet whole up and put on the cape. As I began to put my hair in a messy bun I looked in the mirror and saw Lafayette walk up behind me and put his hand on my shoulder. As I Finnished making my bun and looked up at Lafayette. "Take care of Katelyn for me" I smiled "stay alive for me!" He hugged me "I kissed him on the cheek and walked outside.
I untied the horse. I hopped ontop of the black and white spotted horse. I waved goodbye to Lafayette and lightly kicked the back of the horse.
As the horse began running I turn Ed back around to see Lafayette head down walking into the tent.
I continued on my way to the readcoat base.

Hours later I finally got to the front gates to reveal two British men holding guns. As they noticed the uniform the put find their guns "Clara done?" Asked one of the men.
I nodded acting as if I was the woman he was talking about. He opened the gate and I rode in on the horse.
