Normal

Halle loved having a normal life, she didn't care for the excitement or thrill. She just liked to live a normal, good life. If there was any drama at school or at home, she would ignore it and go to the place where she feels safe, in the corner under her bed.
   Getting ready for school wasn't that hard for Halle. She got up, combed her hair, put some makeup on, and walked downstairs for breakfast. She turns the corner and sees her family sitting at the dining room table.
     Her dad looks up from his tablet, "hey kiddo!"
"Hi honey, sleep well?" Her mom shouted as she cooked.
Halle nodded, " yeah" she sat at the table, grabbing a plate, and picking the food she wanted.
After eating Halle grabbed her backpack and went off to school.

Halle thought of herself as the unique girl at school. Other middle schoolers didn't understand her. But Halle didn't understand them. Others are always getting into drama, wearing heavy makeup, acting like a bully, or just shy. Halle was none of these. She has A's and B's in her classes. She also isn't shy but she is quiet. She only has had one friend for years. That is cooper gryphin. She could be herself around cooper and actually trust him. Halle has always had trust issues.
Lunch time came around and Halle brought her home lunch. She sat down at a table in corner of the lunch room. She pulled out her favorite book, Demon in the attic, as she waited for cooper. 10 minutes later cooper sat down next to her. Halle smiled and put her book away.
"Hey Halle, what's up?" Cooper said as he took a bit of his sand which.
Halle nodded, "I'm alright just finished a chapter or 2 for my book report."
Cooper's mouth was full so he put a thumbs up. Minutes went by and they talked and ate their lunch together. Then the bell rang and it was time to go.
"Ugh, I hate 9th grade" cooper cried
Halle nodded.
Coopers eyes lit up, "hey! Do you want to come to the park after school? We could hang out for a little while?"
Halle thought about it for a moment and nodded. As they went down separate hallways they waved goodbye. Halle couldn't wait until after school to hang out with cooper, she just wanted school to be over.
