Vanished

Worry

    Allison drove as fast as she could to the park, in fear of her daughter. She wondered what had happened to her little girl, she feared for her daughter. Jake started to sweat, even though Halle aggravated Jake, he still loved and cared for her. Before Jake knew it, they were at the park. He watched his mom slam the door and run to the playground. Both of them searched all around calling Halle's name. Allison was suddenly approached by Rachel, who lived across the street, and really good friends with Allison. Jake ran over to his mom.
"Hey Allison, what's going on are you ok?" Rachel said with concern.
"No I, I can't find Halle. She came here a little bit ago with Jake and her friend and Jake ran home saying Halle vanished."
Shock came over Rachel, "oh no, is there anything I can do? Anything to help?"
"Could you spread the word. Tell people around the neighborhood that Halle is gone."
Rachel nodded, gave Allison a hug, and walked off. Basically everyone new who Halle was and what she looked like. They looked around a little longer, and found nothing but other kids playing. Allison walked over to the wall ball, and leaned against it. She looked down, and on the floor was a picture of Halle and cooper before the kid napping. She picked it up and started to cry. She flipped the picture around, were the numbers 4-28-13 and the number 1173. She
looked up to see Jake with tears in his eyes.
     "4-28-13 1173? What does that mean mom!" Tears started streaming down his face.
     She gave him a hug and rubbed his head, " I don't know honey, let's go home and check Halle's room for clues."
     He whipped his tears as he nodded in agreement. They walked back to the car, disappointed and scared. All they could do was hope she was alive and well.
     Jake stopped and looked back at the playground, his mom stopped with him, "this is all my fault," he said sobbing, if  I hadn't gone off with my stupid friends then maybe none of this would be happening!"
      Allison gave him a hug, " this is NOT your fault. We will find her and get a good explanation. Maybe she's at coopers house, let's check there before searching Halle's room."
     Coopers house was on the same street as their house so it didn't take long to get too. Allison knocked on the yellow, metal door. A women answered, holding a tissue. She had her long blonde hair in a side braid. Wearing bright colored clothes and jeans.
     "Hi Allison, please come in I need to speak with you."
    "So do I Nichole."
     They walked inside and sat on the teal couch. They sat there in silence for a while, trying to figure out what to say.
      "Nichole, when was the last time you saw your son?"
     Nichole took a deep breath, " when he went to the park. But that was hours ago, do you know anything, well he went with YOUR daughter."
     Allison never liked Nichole, and she didn't think Nichole liked her daughter. She thought she was a bad example for cooper. Allison tried to hide how she felt about Nichole due to the situation.
     "Well Halle also went with YOUR son to the park hours ago. I told her to come home after an hour! Halle would never run away! She has no reason to!"
    Nichole tried to hold back, but she couldn't any longer, "UGH this is all your daughters fault! He she hadn't asked him to go none of this would be happening!"
     "Woah, woah, WOAH! First of all YOUR son asked MY daughter to go to the park! And second of all, this is not my daughter, or your sons fault!" She started to calm down, "look why don't we word together on finding our children?"
     "Allison, I don't need your help! I can find my son and husband on my own! Now if you'll excuse me, I have some business to attend to so if you could just let yourselves out, I would appreciate it."
    "Wait a minute! Your husbands gone too?" When did he go missing?"
   Nichole sighed, " he was supposed to have gotten home 2 hours ago! Anything else?"
    Allison rolled her eyes, and Jake and her walked out.
