It was December 5th, 2014, and I was on my way to the mall to get the Secret Book Series that I ordered for my little sister, Bex. I like getting my gifts ahead of time before people raid into the malls later on.

I walked into the book store in the mall and I walked to the front desk. Martha, the front desk lady and I knew each other because I always came here to buy my books. They had the most amazing books to read and it was also a good place to go after school to study.

Martha knew what I came here for and gave me my bag of books. (I also got some books myself too) I thanked her and left the bookstore.

Since I had nothing to do, I just walked around the mall.

I looked at all the cool stores and little kiosks. One was selling all things fidget and it was really funny because the whole time the guy was talking to his customers he was playing around with a fidget cube.

As I was walking past the fidget kiosk I noticed a group of familiar teenagers also walking past the kiosk and then I saw the all too familiar face that caught me a little off guard...

Derek Banks, Sophomore at Y/H/S (Your high school)

I think to myself nope, no, nuh-uh, not today. I am not going to do this all over again...

Yesterday he called me a "Short Stack of PanSkanks." Honestly, that's a good play on words I have to admit bc I do act Pan sometimes and I'm short. But the skank part... I mean I can be unpleasant at times but not all the time.

But the part that was insulting was when they would say that I didn't have a true family bc my dad died when I was six and I have no idea where my mom is.

I do have a family. It may not be proper but I'm okay with that. I have an older brother named Brennen and he's 20 and I have a little sister Bex that I mentioned before that is 10 they both live with me and my Aunt, who has always been the mother I never had.

But Derek did something far more worse than calling me names and insulting me and my family... he broke our trust...

I kept walking as fast as I could all the way to the parking garage to get my electric bike. I have a license but I am scared of driving so my Aunt decided to buy me an electric bike so that I didn't have to walk long distances. It took me awhile to find my bike because of the big garage, I finally made it onto the fourth floor and found my bike.

I was about to hop in and ride until I heard a bunch of guys cackling devilishly. It was far away so I couldn't hear much. I decided to ride around the corner and take a look to see what was happening.

Once I turned the corner and reached the third level, I noticed the group of the same guys at the kiosk circled around something. I couldn't really tell what so I parked behind a big forest green suburban to take a closer look.
