"Uh... no" Sydney mumbles, turning the machine so I can get a better look at it. She points to one of the blobs. "There. I can't tell the gender yet but from the looks of it you're about a week along" She explains. "I think I'm going to be sick.." I mutter, and Mini holds up the trash.

"No, Mini. A week along." I start shaking a little and look down at my stomach. "Remember what happened a week ago?" I gulp, then Mini connects the dots. "But- Oh fuck" He mutters, eyes wide. "I-I need to go, I-I can't deal w-with this, this i-isn't okay" I stutter, slowly getting to my feet.

"Ryan, hold on. It's ok-" I cut Mini off by leaving, running out the front doors. I head straight to the garden since I know no one can follow me here, collapsing onto my knees in front of the fountain. I put my arms on the fountain wall as I hold back years, this can't be happening.

It can't it can't it can't! I'm married to Luke! Luke is my mate! I can't- I can't have Bryce's baby! He's not even alive anymore, is he?! Oh my god- what if Luke finds out?! He'll kill me! I'm useless to him pregnant with a child that isn't his, he'll throw me away! I can't die, I'm only nineteen! I'm pregnant at nineteen! Oh dear gods what am I going to do?!

I sniffle and wipe my eyes, looking up as the fountain spews out it's black water. Luke.. Luke said it was magical. That it did different things for everyone. Maybe if I drink the water, maybe the baby will go away. That makes sense, right?! I dip my hands into the fountain, which is so cold it stings.

I drink from my hands and it hurts going down, burning my stomach too. I bend over and cry louder, gasping when the pain in my stomach stops and my mating mark throbs. I let put a sob and start clawing at the mating mark, trying to get the pain to stop. I throw up again, but this time it's all the black water.

It hits the dirt and a flower springs up. A gardenia stands out among the dark flowers and ground, growing bigger then one usually would. I frown, what does a gardenia mean?! I get up and storm to the library, avoiding Mini and Tyler, who are both looking for me.

I walk into the large library and go to the shelf with books starting with F. I find and book entitled flowers, Luke showed it to me once before. I flip through the pages until I find a gardenia, reading what meaning the flower has, much like the snow drop Luke gave me means hope.

"Gardenias are flowers that represent children and family" The book reads. My eyes widen and I quickly put the book back on the shelf, heading back to the garden. I lower myself onto the ground in front of the gardenia and sniff, wiping my nose on my wrist before looking up at the fountain. "Why?"
