The Shot That Changed My Life

Andrina's POV:

Our music pieces in orchestra sounded amazing. We got better and better everyday. Our music teacher Mrs.Jerrin picks the best songs for us! Once we played lady gaga (which is a mix up of a bunch of her most popular songs), cannon in D and Birthday by the by the Beatles! (my favorite oldie band ! I have the music taste of a 40yr old!) She is the best! I was having so much fun playing my violin. We ended our song, Mrs.Jerrin was about to complement us on how great we sounded.

Then I heard that piercing shot. That shot changed my life forever.

Mrs Jerrin flew off the stage crashing onto the choir's stairs.If she ended up surviving, she probably would have been paralyzed for the rest of her life.

I heard the sound of precious instruments crashing to the floor.Everyone ran to the opposite wing the terrorists were in.

Everyone except me.

I just stood in shock, my heart racing.

Looking at the small group of terrorists with huge metal guns and long black beards Killed me inside.

Suddenly one of the terrorists screamed "Out of my way child!!!" and hit me in the head with his gun. I bent down and almost fell to the floor from the pain sent throughout my head.

W violin dropped to the floor. Smashed Into pieces along with all the other instruments. It was almost heart breaking seeing the wood and strings on the floor. It was like all the bits of wood and strings were never anything importent.

I could barely breathe. Suddenly I saw 3 blurry images of everything. I felt myself stumbling over chairs and music stands I tried to run as fast as I could. I felt a throb or pounding in my head. No word could ever explain what I felt.

I started screaming " H-help!!! help me!! pl-ease!" I instantly felt my throat all sore and dry. I knew I was done, when I pass out they'll kill me. I knew this would be my last couple seconds of life. I wanted to cry but there was no time. At this point I could barely walk.

I saw someone with blond hair run towards me.

Then everything went black.
