Imogene hummed to herself as she loaded up Spotify and went onto her account. She was pleased to see that her latest upload had close on one million listens, it made her feel like she was literally glowing.
Imogene writes and records songs for a living, uploading them onto YouTube and Spotify and Apple Music, et cetera. She plays the viola, violin and the piano and loves recording and remixing her tunes. She's teaching herself how to play the guitar.
Sometimes she'll do raw recordings, of one instrument (usually the viola or the violin) and cover a song. These are extremely popular, the most watched one being her cover of Sia's chandelier; Imogene's favourite to make, though, was her adaption of Matt Simmons' 'Catch and Release.'
Imogene also will record music to go in the background of YouTube videos to make them even more unique and interesting. YouTubers such as Zoella and Alfie Deyes have requested her violin background, or even her piano instrumentals.
On top of all that, she makes a point to upload a video teaching people how to play a certain song on the piano at least once a month.
She's busy, but she loves it. She loves her work and she loves what she does.
Imogene has amassed over three million subscribers on YouTube, some of them had come from her Instagram, which was her main social media where she posted little clips of her on an instrument, and it sat at four and a half million. The rest of her subscribers were from the shoutouts she's received, and the explore page of YouTube.
YouTube, understandably, love her.
Imogene is also in the middle of planning a tour around the U.K.
She's a dreamer, someone small who believes she can change the world from her apartment in West Hampstead, and she loves it.
