"Are you okay now?" Apo tried his very best to sound casual.
"Y-yeah, I think... I think so," Waii answered.
"Good. I've already finished my tasks tonight," Apo smiled. "Let's go back to your house," Apo snatched Waii's hand, if earlier Apo felt nothing holding Waii's hand, now it seems like a thousand volts of electricity is flowing on his veins. He sighed and after a while, they are back to Waii's house and Apo felt the urgency to leave.
"If... if it's okay with you, uhmm, c-can you stay for just a little while?" Waii asked,
Apo was struck in his place. At this moment, he really want to leave, but he can't say no to a person who is nursing his hurt feelings.
"S-sure." Apo replied, holding back the urge to turn invisible in Waii's sight. After all, Waii was his charge. His need always comes first. Apo... Apo... you're such a fool for putting some emotions on your duty.
"What do you want to do?" Apo asks,
"Can we just sit here?" Waii sat down to the couch and offered Cupid to sit down next to him.
Apo was unsure if it was a good thing but then he sat down close to him.
"That was quite a blow, huh?" Apo started asking, seeing that Waii only replied with a nod.
"But it helped, right?" Apo asked again. This time, Waii didn't even react. Apo thought that maybe, Waii was thinking or still weighing his feelings.
"Yeah, it did. Tremendously." Waii replied with a smile plastered on his lips.
"That's why it's called 'cleansing'," Apo explained. Apo didn't get it's importance at first when Ice explained it to him. He didn't get why you have to torture someone who is badly hurt of his past by taking him back in time, back to where he felt all his pains and sufferings. After doing it with Waii, Apo was now enlightened of Ice's intentions.
"When they first happened, you were so immersed in the event that you couldn't analyze them. Now, you are one of the spectators. You're just watching the scenes so you will have the means to analyze or study it in it's tiny details." Apo added.
"And what conclusion should I come to, Doctor Love?" Waii asked,
Apo was quite delighted seeing Waii smiling. The guy was now joking, which only means that he was not feeling that down. Right, you should smile more often. You look more handsome when you smile. Let's keep that smiling Waii a habit. Apo can't believe of what he just thought about the guy. He silently scolded himself. It started when they hold hands, now all this crazy thoughts and sensations are pestering him.
"That you were badly, badly hurt. That the pain you had to go through was so intense you never wanted to feel that way ever again. But you also have to understand that you need to let go of the past and face the future with eager anticipation," Apo explained, speaking like a real love doctor.
"And why would I wanna do that? You just said that I may not want to feel that kind of pain again," Waii answered with a smug look on his face.
"Because the world continues to turn, it never stops. It will not stop for you, for your broken heart and for your broken dreams. Life goes on and we can't avoid or refuse whatever it has in store for us. Whatever our future brings, we should gladly accept it," Apo smiled,
