"So, how did we met?" Apo asked, curious about how Ice played the details out.
Waii was just staring at him, clueless. "Hey? You really did forget? Guess I really didn't make my first impression last that time," Waii said a bit hurt.
"No, not in a thousand years, it's not that. I just want to hear it all over again. From the beginning. Would you mind, dear husband?"
"Sshhh... stop teasing me. Okay, okay, I will tell you every details you want to know." Waii replied blushing.
"I love you," Apo winked,
"I love you too. Let me begin," Waii straightened out on his seat and sips his coffee, overloooking at their balcony. "You're this very talkative guy in the bar where me and my bestfriend often hangs out. We came to dance all night, and I think you're dancing there too. Suddenly, your dance partner left you all alone then you started bumping each and everyone on the dancefloor. That's when you accidentally bumped me, and you lose consciousness after. As a good samaritan as I could be, I carried you outside despite the panic you caused over the bar. I brought you to the hospital while waiting for your friends to arrive."
"Did I wake up?" Apo asked excitedly.
"Impatient, aren't we?" Waii smiled then continued his story, "you woke up after a day of rest. You, young man, is over fatigued. Working too hard isn't always that good, you know? As doctor's order, you were told to rest for another day. Since I am the one who brought you to the hospital, I also paid your bills. Your friend, Fa, brought your parents at the hospital and cried when they heard the news. It's not my hobby to listen to family affairs so don't worry, I heard nothing, and all is well now."
"My family visits me... I'm grateful," Apo said on a sad tone.
"Hey, you really don't remember? Is that selective amnesia? Babe, we need to see a doctor this early," Waii said in an anxious tone.
"It's not that," Apo laughed. "I am not used seeing you like this, so caring, loving, you're such a sweet package."
"Should I continue our story?" Waii asked,
"Yeah, go on. I love listening to your voice,"
"Too many compliments early in the morning. I think I made you very happy last night," Waii smiled, raising his brows that makes Apo blush. "Before you were discharged, we exchanged numbers and started communicating thru text, call, we added each other on Line, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, name it, we have it all." Waii took a long pause to look at Apo, "then one day, I visited your office to propose a contract at your company,"
"Let me guess? You're in need of an electrical engineer for a building inspection?" Apo replied, somehow confident.
"Close, I am actually buying your contract on the company. I can't let the love of my life go through heavy work loads again. It was a closed door meeting so you probably didn't know it. Your company declined my offer, so the next thing I did was rush to your table, and ask you for a date," Waii said triumphantly.
"Wow! Aren't you that fast? I am fascinated by your confidence! Did I say yes?" Apo asks wondering
"You said no."
"What? Seriously?" Apo couldn't believe he actually said no.
"Yeah. You find me too arrogant. Too self-confident. So I started sending you flowers, chocolates everyday. Still you said no."
