Chapter Twenty One

Katherine's P.O.V

How the hell im i suppose to escape if i got no money and have no damn idea where i am?

This morning while training i couldn't stop thinking about Caleb's promise about letting me see my best friend again.

I decided that after a long hot shower im going to go find him and find out what hes master plans are. I really hope i can trust him... What if hes working secretly with max and they are trying to see where my loyalty lies? Who im i kidding, for all i know he could also want out of this place as much as me.

Out of this place.

Hes out there.

Not in this place.

My mind automatically drifts to the blue eyed boy that captured my heart with one look and now holds my heart in hes hands which he is crushing piece by piece.

Inch my inch.

My heart beat speeds up just thinking about him.

He makes me happy.

He makes me sad.

He means everything to me and i will run right back into those strong arms, because that's the only place that i feel comfort and forget about all my worries.

I've been so caught up in my thoughts that i missed the turn to my room. Im standing in a foreign part that i have never been before. I can hear mens voices behind the door, i should probably turn around and walk away but curiosity gets the best of me.

I press my ear against the door trying to be as silent as i can. I recognize Max's voice and i think Caleb.

Wait, why is Caleb there?

"I need to get her to trust me! Thats why i need to plan a false escape and take her to go see her family." Caleb screams.

"No. I cant risk it! Shes the only thing i got against that little fucker and im not letting her go. End of story."

"Stop thinking with emotions Max! Think with your head. Shes planning to run away and if i take her to see her friend she will stay longer. Think about it Max, now i got to go play good friend and plan our little escape plan."

I block the sob that was threatening to escape with my hand and sprint to my room with tears pooling in my eyes.

Just as i arrive to my room Caleb appears behind me.

"Get away from me! You a liar and i trusted you!"

"You need to be quiet-"

"No you dont tell me what to do!" Just as im about to shove him out of the room he grabs my hands and hold with while blocking my mouth with one hand.

"You need to shut up and listen!" he whisper shouts.

"And stop jerking before you get hurt. I can give you a name but you have to promise not to scream when i let go and just let me explain. Okay?"

I nod

"Okay you have 60 seconds before i beat your ass." He gives a humorless laugh.

"I think Tyler will beat my ass if anything happens to you."

Short chapter... I'm sorry but I'm gonna try to update more but its gonna be shorter chapters.
