Tyler's P.O.V
I peeked into the big doors and saw Katherine talking to a nurse. Not just any nurse but one that looks like a real witch. Katherine then made her way down the corridor and disappeared into the white doors. I walked in and stopped in front of the receptionist. "Surname and your first name please If you here to book someone in you jus-...." Her words trail off as she looks up at me. Her cheeks turning a light shade of pink and closed her wide open mouth.

"Ummm... Are you h-he-here to visit-t som-mone?"

She clears her throat and turns a shade darker. I know I'm drop-dead gorgeous and thanks to my good looks it makes it easy to get things I want. But at the moment the attention she was giving me was pissing me off! I just wanted to go see Katherine.

"I'm here with my girlfriend that just walked through those doors..." I pointed toward the white doors "... And you will show me where she went."

"Ummm sir I'm not allowed to do th- did you say, girlfriend ?" She looked at me wide eye. I gave her a hard look "Don't question me! Now take me before I pull out my gun and shoot you dead!" I used my deadliest voice and I saw fear creep in her eyes. She quickly nodded and walked out from behind the table and asked me to follow her.

I did and we walked through the white doors. "Every fucken thing is white is this fucked up hospital. From the walls to this hoes white shirt and even the floors!" I laughed to myself as she stopped in front of a room. I quickly stopped her before she can make a move. "You done your job now head back without a sound!" I whispered screamed.

My heart beating furiously as I watched her head back. I took a deep breath and looked into the room to see Katherine sitting on a stool by a hospital bed.

Crying.
She was crying.

On the bed was a tiny woman that resembles a lot of Katherine, except her very short grey hair and wrinkled skin. Katherine started taking out money from her bag and placed it in a box next to the bed.

I saw a doctor walking this way so I ducked into the next room. The door opened then I heard the doctor call Katherine out for a moment. She came without hesitation.

"Yes, doctor ?" Her voice was soft and sound like harmony, but I could hear the way it cracked when she talked. But the next word haunted me.

"Miss Velea. We are running out of time for your mother's operation. We have been helping you a lot and we keep holding back the opp cause you short of 30 thousand. Her condition is getting worst by the minute. I'm sorry Miss Velea but if you don't bring 30 thousand by the end of this month we cannot help your mother."

Katherine P.O.V

"Miss Velea. We are running out of time for your mother's operation. We have been helping you a lot and we keep holding back the opp cause you short of 30 thousand. Her condition is getting worst by the minute. I'm sorry Miss Velea but if you don't bring 30 thousand by the end of this month we cannot help your mother."

I couldn't take it anymore as those words sand into my heart. I broke down right there.
In the corridor.
In front of everyone.
Outside of my mother's room door.
I just had to let go and I cried. I was about to fall on the floor when strong hands enfolded me in a tight hug and I couldn't care less who it was. At longest they just held me like this.

"Shhhh, my babe... Shhhh I got you." Those words made me freeze and I looked up with blurry eyes to see Tyler there, standing strong and rubbing my back. I never felt more loved before.

I snuggled my head into his shoulder and cried my heart out. After what felt like hours and hours of crying I looked up from his shoulder and was shocked to see that we were sitting on a chair. I can't remember him moving us, but that didn't matter. All that did was that he was here and was supporting me. I just leaned against his shoulder while sitting in his lap and thought about everything that's going on.

Tyler P.O.V

I felt Katherine slowly drift off to sleep as she sat in my lap. Her breathing slowed and she looked so peaceful. No beautiful, like an angel from heaven. My angel. Shea has been so much and I don't even know the half.

I picked her up and walked into her mother's room because there is a bigger chair where she can sleep comfortably on me and not wake up with a stiff neck. I walked in and saw her mother also sleeping, she also looked as peaceful as her daughter so I was a quiet as I could be. I sat down and placed Katherine comfortably on me.

I signed and leaned my head back.

"I will stay by her side no matter what. I know how it feels to have a sick mother. And how it feels to lose one even."

I look down at Katherine and rub my hand over her cheek "I won't leave you, babe. I promise" I slowly placed a kiss on her forehead and looked up to see Katherine's mother smiling sweetly at me, with so much love in her eyes. "I really hope you a man of your word darling, cause my baby girl really needs you."
