"Robin?" Maria said trying to mask her concern but failing,"Robin! Listen to me, I'm not going anywhere. I'm safe I have all of the De noir clan and Merryweather's protecting me. And Robin," she said it so softly I almost had to lean in to hear her," I also have you."
I was stunned, the girl who once gave me a wound with a sewing needle, who used my traps to trap me, was relying on me for safety. I couldn't keep the blush back any longer. I was starting to love this girl, from a family I was raised to loath and hate.
MARIA
"Robin? Cat got your tongue?" I smirked at his inability to speak.
"Hey," he complained and I started running as he caught up I collapsed.
I grabbed his arm and pulled him down with me. The point was for him to land beside me instead he landed on top of me.
