Chapter 16 - The baby is coming

"Ahhhh!" I screamed. My face full of sweat and tears. Who ever said giving birth was easy will have their head ripped from their neck from me. If it wasn't my wolf giving strength to me, I wouldn't have survived. Nathan still hasn't returned and every time we send out a tracker they either don't return or return injured.

Alec is enjoying his role as the new Alpha too much to even care about finding Nathan. Just wait till Nathan returns we will cut Alec into pieces slowly and....sorry about us being so aggressive, it's the childbirth, the stress of my mate, the fact that I don't know what will happen to me after my son is born.

It was already 3 hours I was laying here in labour. Thankfully this was a regular hospital with regular people. I kind of miss this old life of mine. I had to give up teaching after this whole Lucius story. I really wasn't in the mood to get kidnapped again by one of my former coworkers, but all these people that are rushing around remind me of my childhood. My mom used to be a nurse or rather my foster mother. I really didn't know my parents. They died when I was still a child, that explains me not knowing I was a wolf.

As for the regular hospital, you are probably wondering why I a werewolf is giving birth to a werewolf baby between all the humans. Well as I learned apparently the werewolf only turns after the age of 16 or when they had killed their first person. So besides the threat of me turning full canine on these people, everything was going to be okay.

Besides the pack house might have a healer but I don't trust anybody from the pack with my child. Especially not with Alec and the council controlling everything around there.

"Come on push." The doctor said calmly.

What the f- do you think I have been doing you idiot!

Sorry like I said giving birth was not easy.

"We are almost done. Just one final..." He was interrupted by a baby crying. After cutting the umbilical cord and sort of cleaning the baby, they hadn't him to me. I was starring at pure joy at my son. He was beautiful. I believe that every mother says that of their young ones but he, he was truly amazing. I immediately felt unexplainable love and protection towards this baby. He was mine and I would give my life just to make sure that he was safe. How I wish Nathan was here.

"Whats his name?" One of the nurses asked looking at the both of us.

"Aden" was all I said. I remembered that Nathan once told me if he was ever to have a son he would name him Aden. Why? I don't know but when Nathan returns I would find out for sure.

I decided that after I get out of this hospital I and my son would make a run for it. I would not let them take my boy away from me. We will go and find my mate ourselves. Screw the pack! Their loyalty only lies with their ranks, not their own opinions.

While busy lying there and resting a bunch of men marched in. Some I recognized as hunters from the pack. They seemed to go unnoticed by the humans even though they are pretty obvious!

"What do you want?" I asked sharply.

They didn't answer, all they did was walk over towards my son. I knew what they were going to do.

"No!" I screamed and pushed myself forward. Even though I am weak I still had power to push the closest one away. The rest of the guys came to hold me down. I was fighting with everything inside of me. They cannot take my son. The door opened, one of the nurses came in.

"Oh I am sorry. I didn't know you had company." Was all she said with a smile before existing.

The men started packing my bags. The one that I pushed away was now holding my son. They all helped me into the car sitting tightly next to me. My son was in another car with the other man. They are literally separating us. I will kill them all!

Tears were burning in my eyes. How can one pack be so kind the one day and so cruel the next. Why are the taking a son away from his own mother!

We drove into the pack house. They again took me like one of their prisoners and lead me upstairs to a bedroom. It was not our bedroom. All of them exited accept one guy.

"I will kill you all." I warned. My canines was clear as hell by now. My breathing was heavy. I was furious!

"When you have calmed down, the council would like to speak to you and your duties in the pack from now on." He existed the room and I heard the door get locked behind him.

I will get my son back and I will kill each and everyone of these bastards even if I have to kill myself in the progress. My wolf was going crazy. She was brawling a war inside of me. There was going to be hell fire.
