Part 29

The whole family was having dinner together when Sonakshi suddenly had mood swing. She became hell  angry when Dev accidentally  poured extra curry on her rice
"devv"
"Sonakshi I am sorry I will reduce it " while doing so he spills a bowl over her staining her favorite dress
" dev! "
" sorry " he starts cleaning the turmeric stain thus worsening and Sonakshi just stormed of into their room
" beta don't be sad it's her mood swings"
"no worries ma J am not sad but I will go and check on her "

On entering the room he sees his darling Jaan has normalized and is sitting with a pout.  On seeing him she immediately  stands
" Dev much ice cream or golgappe  khaane  hain"
"but it is not healthy"
"please "
" accha  OK come "
They inform the other family members and Dev arranges for golgappe to be made in mineral water under extremely hygienic  conditions
Sonakshi was busy eating when she saw Dev just staring at it. She picked his one up and pushed it into his mouth forcing him to chew it.
"Dev I want to eat noodles also  "
" OK come"

They eat all the things demanded by her and then head for bed. Sonakshi is cuddled up with Dev and is fast asleep
Like this months past and now she is in her last month. Her tummy is more bulging due to her two twins inside her. Dev was very alert as at anytime her Waterville could burst. Throughout these months Ishwari tried calling him and tried persuading him to come back but he payed no heed. Today was one such day
"Dev Aaja  ab she is of no use "
" shut up maa you have no idea she is my life get it MY life  and dare you speak against her "
And he cuts the call and just then
" devvv! "
" Sonakshi! " he rushes toward her. She was clutching her tummy all the family members arrive and sourabh takes out the car and rush her to the hoapital

It has been 3 hours and Dev has been paying outside without a break. Sonakshi was in Labour and all he was worried that nothing should happen to his three lifelines. Just then the doctor  comes out
"Congrats they twins one girl and  one boy. "
"can I see them"
"yes they are with their mom in the normal ward go go and meet them"
All the family member enter and Bijou scoops the girl and Asha the boy. Dev sits beside Sonakshi who was all tire due to her labour
"what should we name them sonakshi"
"Dev the girl is devakshi and the boy is devaksh"
"hmm maa can I hold devakshi while she holds devaksh and can you click a photo for our album"
"sure beta"
They take the kids and click the photo. Both start crying due to hunger. Everyone leaves except Dev as Sonakshi made him sit beside her with one kid. She lifted her dress and told Dev to put devakshi's mouth on the left Nipple while she kept devkash's mouth on her right one. The kids were busy sulking them and finally fell asleep. Dev scooped them one by one and kept them I  the cradle. He informed the others that he would stay with her in the hospital and they agreed.
"Sonakshi you sleep you must be tired "
" hmm"
And she lies down and sleeps. Dev looks at his three lifelines who were fast asleep. Days past and Sonakshi was welcomed home and wait there was a surprise.
Yep Nikki Neha Riya all had come over for a few days. They scooped the children and played with them and then handed them over to the parents
They headed towards to their room
And started playing with the kids. Devakshi was in dev's arms  trying to catch his nose. While devaksh was trying to catch Sonakshi's strands which were falling on her face. Soon they dosed off in their respective arms and were laid down into their cradles
"Sonakshi thank you for my two new lifeline "
" Dev thank you also"
And finally they share a hug
" Dev you are wet"
" and so are you" and then they realized that the kids urinated on them. They changed their nappies and then their clothes and went to sleep.
Around 2 am devaksh cries due to hunger and Sonakshi feeds him. After five minutes devakshi waked up and cries and Dev makes her go to sleep
The whole night they kept trying to make the kids sleep and then they gave up and made them sleep between them. Devaksh was cuddled with Dev and devakshi with Sonakshi and that is when they realized that the kids would sleep only when they were in the arms of their parent irrespective of in whose arms they were.
