Part 32

Today was the day. Today was Sonakshi elder brother sourabh's engagement. The kids were in their dads arms who was busy keeping them happy while Sonakshi was speeding around making sure the house properly decorated.
"Sonakshi Beta jaa Jake taiyar ho jaa"
"ji maa"
"baccho ko bhi le jao  "
" ji devaksh aaja Beta mumma paas"
She scoops devaksh and Dev picks up devakshi. Soon all four come down Sonakshi and devakshi were looking stunning while Dev and devaksh were dashing.
The brides family members arrive and soon everyone were talking

"maa take the kids I am going on stage "hmm"

"so ladies and gentlemen all of you know why we have gathered here right. So here comes the prince with his stunning princess (sourabh and Ronita  descend the stairs and settle down and the clapping subsides). DADA bhabhi abhi  aap logo ko wait Karna parega as we sisters have prepared some dances for you and has Rohan and Bunty bhai ya.  Music!"
First Sonakshi has a solo performance and she dances on Radha on the dance floor. (just like alia bhatt) then Elina and Priya join in for  nashe  se  Chad gayi( and dance like in the movie) . Soon the song  changes on aashiq surrender Hua ( Dev and Sonakshi are the main dancers while the other four follow them)  soon their dance ends and everyone claps for them. Sourabh and ronita exchange the rings and then the DJ plays everyone dance but dev's eyes are only searching for Sonakshi and then he sees her feeding the kids and walks over to her and keeps her company.

The guests leave and only the Bose and chatterjee  family I left
"mom me and ronita have decided to marry after 2 years as she wants to first complete her business expansion and I want my company to first be secure "
" no problem"

A week later mamaji  calls Dev and informs him that Ishwari is counting her last breaths and they immediately leave to meet her.

At the city hospital( I would suggest you guys to play maula from madras Cafe for effect)

"Dev Sonakshi mujhe Maaf  Kardo. I never knew when my insecurities took over my heart and I tried this..... (Breathes with difficulty)  now I am leaving this world and I would like to bless your small family may God bless you all specially you Sonakshi. I am sorry"
"nahi maa families mein  yeh sab hota hain "
" haan... Par..... Jo..... Maine Kiya..... Woh galat.... Hain.... I tried... To kill... Them and I am..... Sorry"
With this her life ends

They do the last rituals and then return home with mamaji Neha Riya and nikki
(you can stop the music now)
  

It had been been a year since this happened and now everything had normalized not that they did not miss her but now they were more stable. With the efforts of  Sonakshi and off course the kids they were able to cheer up Dev. The kids were now two years old and had started walking and touching things. Here is one such day

Sonakshi had just came out of the bath tub and saw Dev covered in lipstick and so was devaksh.  Devakshi was busy painting  Dev nails with Sonakshi Polish while Dev was sitting Helplessly  as Dev was holding his hands. He looked at Sonakshi with pleading eyes and she understood
"babies who wants chocolates"
"mee" and they ran towards her and were about to trip but Sonakshi caught them. They took their chocolates and devaksh put a piece in her mouth while devakshi put one piece in dev's mouth and went and sat on the bed(of course with the parents help) . Sonakshi helped Dev clean up his face and also gave him the Polish remover for him to clean his nails.

After a while Sonakshi had kept the kids in their baby chairs and was trying to feed them. While Dev was busy putting poems on. She cleaned their mouths and took them down where Dev and Sonakshi held their hands( Dev held devakshi while Sonakshi held devaksh)  and took them to the garden for a while. They were busy playing and did not realize the time. Asha called them in and they had their dinner laughing merrily.

One more year passed and it was a week before  the grand day

Sonakshi and devakshi were having their hands designed with mehndi but forgot to have lunch. Dev and devaksh had already had their lunch. Devajsh and devakshi were now three and a half. The girls were sitting in their rooms thinking how could they eat without spoiling their mehndi. Just then the two dashing boys entered
"mommy devakshi why worry when we are here right papa"
"yep" devaksh feeds devakshi lovingly and Dev feeds Sonakshi. Devaksh and devakshi had been taught very good values and devaksh like Dev was a very caring brother and son and devakshi a lovely bubbly caring daughter and protective sister

Once when Sonakshi was very ill having fever of 104-105. The whole night the three of them stayed awake. Devakshi would feed her mom while devaksh would change the wet strips on her forehead and Dev would cook her favorite food and look after the kids.

The grand day came and sourabh and ronita  were finally one
On the other hand Vicky and Radha had realized their mistake and had apologized for their behavior. And hence mamaji and mamaji with Vicky went back to Ishwari niwas  while Dev with his small family shifted Delhi but in a different flat

Neha Nikki and Riya had found their soul mates and had married off
Sonakshi's grandma had a heart attack  and died a year after Ishwari.  And Dev became the support of Sonakshi during their tough times

Vicky and Elena had also married each other and had a son golu who was now five years and a daughter Suhana who is now three years

Neha and ranvier  also had a son neeraj 
Riya had a daughter named ishita 
Nikki was not able to conceive hence adopted two kids rashi  and rudraksh

Devaksh and devakshi were now in fifth class. Dev and Sonakshi were very happy with their family and hence promised each other to stay as each other soul mates

So  this was the end of my first ff humsafar. I do hope all of you enjoyed it just as I did. It was all because of you that I was able to achieve this so the credit also goes to you guys also. So thank you
