Alex and Chase have known each other’s secrets for three months and they haven't told anyone, not even Nick and Blake.
Presently, they were in the lab with Nick, Blake, Jackie and David. A few days earlier, Alex told Chase Jackie was in love with David.
“How do you know?” Chase asked her when she told him.
Alex shrugged, “I just do,” she had said.
Chase and Alex were sitting next to Jackie, watching Nick, Blake and David, when the three boys looked up and grinned.
“Are you guys hungry?” Nick asked.
Alex, Chase and Jackie shook their heads and Blake, Nick and David sighed.
“We'll were going to get food,” David said.
“We'll bring you some,” Blake said.
Alex, Chase and Jackie watched the three boys leave and after a few moments, Chase and Alex turned to Jackie.
“You're in love with David,” Chase said.
Jackie looked at the two sixteen year olds in shock, “What?”
“You're in love with David,” Alex said.
“I'm not,” Jackie said.
“Yeah, you are,” Chase said.
“And we don't mean brother-sister love,” Alex said. “We mean full out stomach flipping, makes you smile, physically hurts, missing piece love.”
Jackie frowned, “I do not.”
“Liar,” Alex said, giving Jackie her, 'Don-lie-to-me-I-am-the-all-knowing-goddess' look.
Jackie sighed and, after a moment, she shrugged, “I have a crush.”
Alex kept giving Jackie the look.
“Fine, maybe,” Jackie said.
“The whole thing?” Chase asked.
Jackie sighed, “The whole thing.”
“How long?” Alex asked.
