Stevie woke up to the sound of her son's cry. She got out of bed, turned on the lamp that was on her nightstand then she walked over to the bassinet that was close by. She picked up her three month old and held him close.

"It's okay baby. Mommy is here." She said as she rocked him. "You're hungry huh?"
The baby quieted down a bit as he heard his mother's voice.

Stevie held him in her arms and brought him over to the bed with her. She pulled down her nightgown and began to nurse him; she looked down at him and smiled.

Stevie thought back at the past three months; two weeks after her son Aaron was born, her parents flew back to Phoenix, Arizona. Soon after, Christine Mcvie left back home to England.

Once everyone was gone, it took a while for Stevie to adjust to being a single mother of four. Especially with a newborn.

She usually had Lindsey's help but since he passed away a year ago, it left Stevie to take care of their newborn son and three daughter's on her own.

Sara, Stevie's oldest daughter, had been in a car accident a few months prior and had broken her arm. Now that the cast was off, Sara stepped up and helped her mother out a lot more with her siblings.

Another big help to Stevie was Karen, Stevie's assistant and best friend. Also, Stevie's long time friend, Tom Petty had been spending a fair amount of time helping Stevie with whatever she needed. If Tom was to be honest with himself, he would realize he was falling in love with Stevie. He was afraid that if he were to admit it and told Stevie how he felt, that Stevie would turn him down.

Hayley, Stevie's eight year old daughter, was finally feeling like herself again. She of course missed her father every single day and would never forget him but she was finally able to move on and heal.

Emily had turned four years old in December and Stevie threw her a big party with friends and family. Emily now understood that her father was never coming back. She was three when Lindsey passed and she had trouble grasping the fact that Lindsey was gone forever.

Now, the Buckingham family lived their life normally. Sara would go to work at her job at the L.A. Times while Stevie stayed home with Hayley, Emily and Aaron. Hayley was homeschooled and Stevie would make sure she did her school work and homework.

Stevie had began teaching Emily how to spell and even read and write. So far, Emily learned to read a little and was making progress. Stevie felt so proud of Emily for catching on so fast.

Stevie came out of her thoughts when Aaron stopped suckling and was now wide awake. Stevie pulled her nightgown up and laid down with Aaron by her side.

Stevie propped him up on some pillows and began to speak to her son. "Guess what Aaron...we are visiting daddy today." She said. "Oh Aaron, I miss your daddy so so much. It's been a year since he has been gone."
Stevie stopped as tears formed in her eyes; her tears spilt down her cheeks. Aaron reached his arms up and his brow furrowed. He kicked his legs and he began to make baby noises.
Stevie couldn't help but smile at her baby boy and she wiped her tears away.
"Mommy is okay. You and your sisters are my whole world."

Aaron's brow relaxed and he smiled at his mother. Stevie began to sing to Aaron when Sara walked in. She smiled and laid down at the other side of Aaron.

After Stevie finished singing, she said. "Good morning."
"Morning mom." Sara replied. "And good morning Aaron!" She said as she spoke in a baby voice.

Aaron smiled and reached for his big sister. Sara picked up into her arms and spent some time with him and her mother before she had to get ready for work.

Soon it was just Stevie and her younger children left at home as Sara had left for work. Sara was only going for half a day because the family was going to visit Lindsey's grave.

Stevie got herself and her children ready after Hayley did a bit of school work and they now just needed to wait for Sara.

Sara picked up her family and they were on their way. When they arrived at the cemetery, Sara grabbed a picnic basket and blanket from the trunk and waited for everyone before making their way to Lindsey's grave.

Hayley held Emily's hand and both led the way while Sara and Stevie followed close behind. Stevie carried Aaron in her arms and held him close for comfort. She could feel herself already breaking.

They stopped in front of Lindsey's grave and Sara began spreading out the blanket then placed picnic basket down. Hayley and Emily sat down on the blanket staring at their father's tombstone. Sara was about to sit too when she looked up and saw Stevie still standing. Sara rushed to Stevie's side who had broken down in tears.

Sara hugged her mother close and soon, Hayley and Emily joined them. Stevie finally broke away and thanked her daughters for their support.

Sara then helped Stevie sit down and they all took turns saying hello to Lindsey. They all went around and told Lindsey how much they missed him and told him about all that's been going on.

Sara told Lindsey about Richard, her boyfriend who she had been seeing for the past few months. Richard treated Sara like a queen and made sure she was happy. Sara was sure Lindsey would have approved of Richard.

Sometime later, Sara passed out their food and Stevie placed Aaron down on his stomach for some tummy time. Everyone ate and told stories about Lindsey and just remembered him to keep his memory alive.

Aaron was laying there facing Lindsey's tombstone; he lifted his head and smiled. He kicked his legs and was so happy.

Stevie looked down and saw Aaron. "Aren't you happy?" She said smiling down at him. She noticed him staring at a specific spot and he was so transfixed on it. Stevie followed his gaze but saw nothing.

Lindsey smiled at Aaron and was speaking to him. Aaron had a huge smile on his tiny face. "Hey bud...how are you doing today huh?"

Aaron was baby babbling and he reached a tiny hand towards him.

"Awe, Aaron. I wish I could pick you up and give you a hug." Lindsey said sadly. "Gosh, what I wouldn't give to be with you, mommy and your sisters. I miss them so much."

Emily saw Aaron lift his hand and said. "Look mommy! He's reaching for something."

They all looked and Stevie knew that Lindsey was near. Stevie smiled through her tears and said softly. "I love you Lindsey."

Lindsey smiled as he looked at Stevie and said. "I love you too angel."
