No Hope

Tim's P.O.V

My eyes opened to see a dimly lit room. Yeah I know, this all seems pretty cliché, my hands are chained to the ceiling, and I feel as if I've been taken a beating for hours. Maybe it has been hours, but how should I know... I don't have a watch.

'At least my mask is still on...'

A door could be heard opening, but I couldn't see it due to the darkness.

Once I saw a figure of a man, I immediately shouted over to him, "Show yourself."

"You act as if we don't know each other, Red Robin." there is only one person I know that has a raspy voice like that.

"Harvest."

"I see you remember me." he walked into the light, reviling himself.

"I could never forget a pretty face." I taunted.

"Your compliment is most appreciated," he walked closer to me, maneuvering around like a shark who just found it's dinner, "but your sarcasm is not."

"What can I say, I have a sense of humor."

"So I see," he stood in front of me making eye contact with me, if those even are eyes, "but hopefully I could get rid of it real fast."

"And hopefully when I send your ass to prison, they can get you a good dental plan once they see I knocked your teeth in."

He punched me in my face, busting my inner lip.

But you see, I couldn't give in. I couldn't show Harvest any weakness, "That all you got," I mocked, spitting the blood out of my mouth, "I've had ten year old girls punch harder than that."

Harvest didn't seem irritated by this, "Teenagers, too cocky and foolish for their own good," he chuckled, "always so stubborn."

"Okay the cocky and stubborn I get," I admitted, not amused, "but foolish? My IQ is probably greater then yours and the rest of your staff."

"All true," he pulled out a small device that looked like a button, "that's what makes you different from the rest, Red Robin. Smarter, might I add. You see, this device here, this button, is a trigger to a mini mind bomb that could scramble the minds of one of your teammates. Just with the push of a button, so much pain, so much agony. Can't you just imagine..." he began to press lightly on the button.

"Harvest, stop!" I shouted, catching his attention, "If you let my team go, I'll let you do what ever you want with me. Just let the four of them go."

He took his fingers off the button,"Who said I only had four of your teammates?" he questioned amusedly.

I thought about what he said. Bart, Cassie, Kiran, and Miguel were the only ones with me when we were captured... Kon and (Y/n) stayed back at the tower... Could he have captured (Y/n) and Kon? No he couldn't have...

I looked over at him, giving him a questioning look, practically asking him the question with eye contact, "Yes, Robin," he answered, "now you're getting it."

I pulled against the chains around my wrist, "I swear if you have done anything else to the others--"

"Now, now, Boy Wonder," Harvest began walking around again, "let's not get feisty."

I glared at him as he turned around and began heading toward the exit, "Oh and remember, don't try and escape, the fate of one of your teammates is at stake."

Then he left before I could argue.

This is exactly what I needed right now; Harvest insulting me while I'm helpless.

What kind of team leader am I? I can't even protect the person I love.

(Y/n) and I had been doing good in Gotham. We were happy meeting each other on the tops of the highest skyscrapers. Why did I have to ruin it by going to New York?

All I've done is endanger more people, including myself.

I sighed deeply, thinking of the best thing I could do in a such intense situation.

But I can't...

This was it, Harvest had me warped around his finger and there was no hope of getting lose...

I tried to update yesterday but I was just so tired and I left for today

Anyways, as you can tell I've been really busy and haven't had time to update. Also I had a hard time writing chapters.

Luckily for you, I've already gotten started on the new book. It will be a BatBoys X Reader and I'll leave it at that...
