A week or two had passed since I accepted the job offer.

It felt almost if I was back at school because of all the work I had to complete at home, along with the work I did in the day.

A lot more work than I expected to say the least.

This made it so that I had less free time to come up with my own ideas for my personal projects.

A few people on my art blog page got upset that I missed a daily update.

During this time, Avery made a bit more appearances.

Avery was about a year older than me, standing at the age of twenty four.

She was still quite mysterious in the fact that, she always behinds behind her thick pair of glasses under her hood.

Currently, I was in the middle of tweaking and fixing an advertisement for Bailey Young's new clothing line.

I think it's ironic, because I've always wanted to actually meet or interact with Bailey.. But here I am, editing something for the company she works with..

She probably wouldn't want to talk with me anyways.

A sigh left my mouth, as I emailed the file to my employer.

Avery walked over to me, as soon as she noticed I was in the area.

"Hey, Alex!" She smiled lightly.

"Oh, hey!" I waved over to her.

Avery took in a deep breathe, and frowned lightly. She placed a smile back on her lips and looked over at my eyes.

"Hey, you look a little stressed."

"Huh? What made you think that?" I yawned, as I quickly fixed my messy hair.

"I mean firstly... Your shirt is on backwards." Avery stifled a light laugh.

"Is it really?" I raised an eyebrow, and looked down at myself.

"Yeah." She nodded, pulling out her phone to check the time.

"Oh... But I'm not stressed." I lied.
"Awh come on.. even if you are I know the perfect solution!" Avery smiled.

"That sounds scary. Are you an axe murderer?"

"No, no!" A pout appeared on her lips. "Just follow me!"

"Fine."

She smiled, and started to walk away.

I caught up, and looked ahead.. there was a path leading into the forest.

"This doesn't look shady at all.... You know, normal people usually just lead their new friends into the forests and have laughs." I shrugged, and still continued following her anyways.

Not too far in, there was a small.. but fine detailed wooden building  and a clearing.

A few logs and a fire pit were placed at the entrance.

"This is my log cabin, I usually come here to clear my mind and read for a bit. I don't like the amount of people at libraries." Her words went a little quiet. "Yeah.. I kind of do sound like a serial killer now."

"Nah, it's alright. I trust you."

Avery grinned happily, and opened the front door and went directly to the kitchen.

The living room was actually scattered in books and paper.

"Want to make some s'mores? I mean.. it's a early, but you know."
