Cole Anderson studied his watch closely, after glaring up over to me after a small period of time.
"I'll let you go home early today, since I have something planned for me later." He said, after shifting his head and posture over to the moderately sized door right of us.
"You only need to do a bit more work here today, and you can finish the rest home."
"Thank you." I nodded, after removing my camera off of the tripod and placing it in a bag.
"Okay, so you just have to come with me to this business meeting." Cole scribbled down something on a piece of paper.
"Another business meeting? You might as well just call me your secretary." I joked, with a bit of seriousness in my voice.
"What?" He asked. "Of course not..."
"Then I'd have to pay you more." Cole mumbled to himself quietly.
"I heard that..." I folded my arms.
Cole rolled his eyes before walking out of the small studio like room, along with me trailing behind him. "You're a decent employee none the less."
We used the elevator to the fourth floor, two floors above us.
After being greeted by a few staff in the hallway, I was forced to be seated in a group of suited individuals.
"Thank you for coming." Cole nodded, sitting at the head of the table.

That meeting was extremely boring.
It just had something to do another company that was doing pretty well financially. I had to take notes on what they were saying throughout it.
After the meeting was let out they allowed me to go home.
The taxi man had been quite fond of driving me places now. He smiled slightly when dropping me off at the parking lot. Upon walking to my apartment I grew extremely surprised when spotting a familiar hooded beauty sitting down on my porch.
"How long... Have you been waiting here for me?" I asked, slightly concerned.
Avery stood up, before looking at me. Her mind was clouded with something.
"An hour or two maybe... But I just have something important to ask you."
"An hour? What?" I opened my door before looking over to her, a little curious as to why she'd wait that long for me. Part of me knew why.
Avery walked inside and I followed after her, locking my door.
"Okay.. Honestly Alex. I'm sorry if I'm stressing you out with all of this." She sat over over on the couch, taking off her glasses.
"You're not.. honestly. Don't worry about it, alright?" The words left my mouth quickly, because of how frequently this same conversation has been popping up over the past few days.
Something about it changed though.
Instead of a simple nod, and Avery decided to switch topics, and looked away before beginning to speak again.
"Alex... how have you managed to do this to me?" She asked, before placing her head in the palm of her hand and shaking it lightly.
"Do, what?" I asked, sitting down next to her.
Avery looked over to me, before sighing. "You've somehow... managed to make your way into my steal-gated kingdom that I've spent years building up around.... You've done it in less than two months." She said quietly before mumbling to herself. "Why, am I so obsessed with you?"
Her words caused me to freeze up, and focus my attention on her.
"Avery.."
"I can't help wanting to be around you all the time." She continued on. "I can't hide the fact that I get jealous when seeing you talk to other girls, and even guys sometimes."
"What hurts me the most.. is that you'll probably never feel the same way for me that I do for you. Why would you anyways? I just destroy the things that really matter. I'm just a ticking time bomb waiting to explode and ruin the life of it's next victim.."
"Avery, stop!" I jumped in quickly after she said that. "You aren't anything you just said you are. You're amazing, alright?"
"Don't lie to me." Avery groaned frustratedly.
I made her look at me, as our faces were only a few inches apart. "I don't lie to people I care about."
She seemed surprised at my sudden action.
Her hand reached up to my cheek, causing my breathing to hitch as my eyes followed it. The other moved closer to mine, tracing circles on my arm.
I don't really know what happened, but once her deep forest shaded eyes made contact with mine everything else around me faded away, time completely stopped.
Before my mind was able to comprehend anything, her soft pink lips connected with mine, sending a surge of warmth down my spine.
Her eyes lit up, when seeing that I returned the gesture. She deepened the kiss by pulling me closer to her.
The intoxicating smell that came from her, drove me to kiss her lips passionately, and hungrily wanting more.
One of her hands moved down my waist, sending multiple jolts of electricity down my spine and around my body, under her contact.
I felt her tongue press against my lips, which caused me to part them almost instantly. Our tongues moved in unison as I mine met with hers.
Soon after, I pulled away looking directly into her eyes.
"What does this mean?" Avery asked me, biting her lip.
"Yes." I said, putting it simply.
I felt like it was time to finally admit.
"Yes? To what?" Avery pouted, from not receiving a full answer.
"I will be your girlfriend..."
Avery's face was tinted red, almost as if she hadn't expect me to finally answer her. "R-Really?" She quickly realized that she stuttered, and tried to cover it up. "I mean.. really? You're not saying this out of pity right?"
I shook my head. "No, it's not out of pity."
"It's because, I think of you in a way I wouldn't normal think many people... and besides." I paused. "Why would I ever look for something in someone else, when I see everything I can have ever dreamed of, and imagined right in front of me?"
After saying that, one of the most beautiful things I'd personally ever seen in my life appeared. A smile. A smile so amazing, and so powerful that I knew just then and there than I had been the luckiest person on the planet.
