Miraculous: Time-travellers

Chapter 7

I realise I haven't thanked anyone yet, but it is because I don't like adding A/N into my stories, but thank you to all my readers for reading even though I feel like facepalming pretty much all the time for the cliche story arcs. (But let's be honest it wouldn't be a miraculous fanfiction without them😆)

"Are you ready M'lady?" The duo where about to face off the akumas.

They had come up with a plan, they had never fought more than one akuma at a time. Although Ladybug tried to convince him for them to stick together, Chat reasoned that due to the amount of akumas, they may at times need to split up. She reluctantly agreed.

Ladybug turned a wrapped Chat in a hug. "Kitty, just please be careful." She whispered not letting go.

"I will, don't worry. Besides, We are just scouting out the akumas, I'll be back by your side in no time." He smiled, which she returned, only weaker.
...

"Ok so there is about 10 akumas that I detected, how many can you see Chat?"

"About 7. How are we going to do this, even with our past experience we've NEVER taken on more than one akuma at a time," he said over the call, he was on the other side of Paris, away from his lady.

"Ok how about we round up them outside the city, then lock them in that empty warehouse on the outskirts of Paris, that way we can start to de-evilise them without destroying the city."

Being in the future, the warehouse's security system created a force field which meant the akumas couldn't escape.

As LB and Chat stepped out the the force field, (their miraculous allowing them to do so) they couldn't help but hear the chorus of complaints from the akumas inside.
"Come On!"
"let us out!"
"I want my mummy!"

Chat snickered at the complaints, meanwhile Ladybug groaned.
"Adri... Uh, I mean Chat can't you be serious?! We need to cure these people."

"How are we going to do that M'Lady? It was hard enough getting them all into this place ."

She sighed and crossed her arms, " I don't know. The people aren't locked up and so I'd need Lucky charm to bring out their akumas. It's almost like I need infinite lucky charms!" Ladybug was exasperated, at the sheer impossibility of that.

What Chat said next threw her off guard.

"Can you do that?"

"What?"

"Infinite lucky charms." He replied

"I've never really thought about it. Maybe. Can you have infinite cataclysms?"

"That would be awesome."

"So no. Maybe Tikki and Plagg could tell us more." She suggested, hoping that Tikki would answer her question through the telepathic connection.

'No. You can never use infinite lucky charms, the cost is too great. What I can do is give you another power, one that will give you the ability to cleanse ALL the akumas at once. It takes a lot of energy but it can be done. However you cannot do this until Chat uses his special power, to destroy the items the akumas are in. All you need to do is say 'miraculous cleanse.'"
