Sarian, the elf king, sat beside his wife and watched their children train.
Asa, their youngest son came running over to them.

"Father i'm tired. Can we please stop now." He asked his little body looking exhausted.

"Will you ever be the best if you stop?" Sarian replied, confusing Asa

"He's only five. Let him rest." The queen insisted looking at her little boy.

"Fine, you may rest."

Asa walked away towards the castle.

"I think you may be pushing them too hard Sarian. They're only young."

"If we don't they won't be the warriors we need them to be." He looked over to his 10 year old twins who were practicing sword fighting.
"Look at them, they'll be strong warriors someday and you'll thank me for pushing them."

Rheanon, his wife, got up and followed her son into the castle.

"Amya!" The king yelled to his 16 year old daughter. She put down her bow and walked towards him.

"Yes father?"

"Go help Kai and Lana with their sword fighting, teach them some of your moves. Please."

"All right." Amya walked over to them, she picked up a wooden practice sword and started teaching.

The king got up and went into the castle. He walked into the planning room and saw his brother,  Raalos and his eldest son, Ash.

"You done anything?" He requested he walked over to the table.

"Nothing much," his son replied. "We need more men. Plus we have know idea how many men they have. And if they have much more than us, well, well lose."

"Hmm," the king wondered. "How can we find out how many men they have?"

"We could," Raalos began." Send someone, a spy, to get information."

The king fiddles with his ring. "I'll find us a spy, and get us the information we need. For now just continue with what your doing.

The king left the room for them to further plan. He headed out the castle and told his twins to take a break.

"Seren, would you, by any chance, like to go to the capital?"

"What, you want me, an elf, to go to the capital, where the other king lives, the one who hates elves. Why would you want me, your eldest daughter, to do that?" Seren replied in shock

"To spy. To find information."

"Yes"

"Sorry, what?" The king asked, confused

"Yes, I'll go, I'll spy for you."

"Oh, well that was easy."

"When will I leave?"

"Tomorrow."

Seren got up early the next day to packed her bags. She loaded her bags into her horse when her father came up to her.

"Please be careful Seren." He put her hair in front of her ears. "Keep your hair like this, they won't be able to tell your an elf. Promise you'll be back in a few days."

"Six, at the most." She hugged her father and mounted her horse. "Goodbye."

"Goodbye."

She rode off into the forrest.

Rheanon came out the castle and approached her husband.
"I can't believe you let her do that. What of something happens to her."

"She's a strong girl. She'll be fine."
