Chapter 4: Hate That I Love You
Sissy’s Point of View:
I really thought they won’t like me.
The way they treat me is really touching, heart-warming.
But aside from that, there’s this guy.
He’s Calyx; he’s perfect as ever.
His eyes they very beautiful, as if I was watching the night sky; his hair, very fine and shiny; his voice, very manly; his attitude, quite rough but I know deep inside he was a nice guy.
I can tell he wanted to hide from his nutshell, he was naive and that’s cute.
He even helped me when they were bullying me and what did he said that time?
“No, she was my girlfriend” ah…. HEAVENS!!!
I didn’t know if he really meant it, maybe not, but it‘s music to my ears.
But he said to never bother him again. I don’t believe him.
I really like him. I guess I’ll do everything for him to notice me.
I’ll make him mine.
All I can think as of now is him.
I can’t sleep.
My bed is so comfy and soft like hell but the nice feeling has been washed away by the good feelings inside me.
It’s so good I’m gonna burst in happiness.
It’s the first time I felt this kind of thing.
I even thought it was a dream that won’t ever come true, but here it is now swirling inside of me.
I can’t sleep.
Calyx’s Point of View:
The morning came but I hardly get any sleep.
My eyes were swollen, they were so heavy.
I’m gonna curse this girl for giving me this kind of feeling.
The feeling is so girly it annoys me very much.
I can’t concentrate.
Right now I’m taking a shower and the coldness of the water kissing my body isn’t felt that much.
Am I losing my senses now?
AH! She’s gonna pay for this!
I get dressed after a senseless shower and got down to eat breakfast with my mother.
How about my father? He left us long ago.
He died. It was a horrible accident.
I was eating with that girl on my mind.
I didn’t even realize I was smiling like a girl right there.
I can’t taste my food.
I tried to hide my smiles but it’s too late, my mother noticed it.
“What makes you so happy? Your smile already reached your ears.” My mom chuckled.
“No, I’m not!” I denied but a smile was painted in my face and I hid it because of embarrassment.
“You are.” My mom clarified.
“Never mind it. Pretend you didn’t just saw it.” I said out of embarrassment.
“Ok boss!” she laughed quietly again.
I got up and grabbed my bag from the couch.
“I’m going mom.” I said and kissed her cheeks.
I walked until I reached the bus stop two lots away from our home.
I was waiting for any bus to come.
Sissy’s Point of View:
How lucky I was! I found a bus. Unfortunately, I was at very back.
Well it’s fine. At least I got one.
There’s an empty seat next to mine, probably the last seat available.
I lie down a bit and the old woman to the next seat saw me and laughed at me.
Do I look funny?
I sit properly in embarrassment and she stopped laughing.
The bus then suddenly stopped, maybe someone will ride.
And then from the door entered a very wonderful creature; from his shadow, to his foot up to his face.
He looks so stunning, and I can’t help but fall in love more.
It was Calyx.
He was looking for a seat but unfortunately there’s no available seat there.
Until he came to the end of the bus where I sit; he saw me and looked at me.
“Hi!”I welcomed him.
He looks so pissed and instead of sitting he stood up and held on the metal rod handle.
Of course I was upset but I think that’s how it was supposed to be.
The old lady noticed him.
“Why don’t you take a seat here dear.” the old woman said offering the seat between her and me.
