Plit plat plit plat, splash. I opened my eyes and saw nothing. Which either meant I was blind or it was dark. I could hear wood creak and groan. Everything felt like it was swaying. I got up and felt something on my leg. Shackles? Seriously? I sat back down my shackles making so much noise. I heard someone move to my left, maybe there was more then one person here. "Hey, you over there. Did you just wake up?" I nodded to the voice then realized my mistake. "Y-yeah, where are we, and why is it so dark." The person's shackles moved closer intell there hand rested first on my leg then my shoulders. As if to make sure I was really there. I don't know why But this thought made my stomach burn, my skin became chilled. How long were we here, and how long would I stay here. The stranger spoke up "I'm not gonna lie to you lade, We're in deep shit. This is my second time here. I wish I could kill myself with this chain but there control is to powerful, to strong. Think for a second boy, why aren't you thinking of how you got here? Why don't you remember your home, or why your bloodied up huh?" I touched myself and sure enough I could feel dry blood. Which is strange since I don't recall why? "Listen here boy. I'm a demigod same as you, same as them." I'm pretty sure he pointed when he said that but all I could see was shadows. "And as a demigod we're on another level. No human can touch us if we wanted, but I'm getting ahead of myself. I should explain the mist." "Ever since the beginning, man has had qurels with just about everything. God's, animals, and other humans etc. Where there's trouble there's humans. Where there's power there's God's. So as a demigod, we're twice as likely to eat shit. Trouble is in are blood, and the power doesn't necessarily help. Humans as you know are attracted to power hence the bombs, weapons and poisonings. Which brings us to a problem, how do the God's keep humans in check? You follow so far?" I realized I was being talked to so I answered perfectly. "Uhhhhh." He took that as a yes and continued. Take a God, a miner god. A god netherless. And hit him with the most powerful bomb out there. He would die if the bomb did hit, but what if it was a major god?" He didn't even wait for my perfect reply, unbelievable. "It wouldn't kill the god of course, but it would leave a nasty wound. At least make him weak for a few hours." I had to interrupt before my head exploded. I thought lectures was taught only in school. I guess ships make an exception.

Before I could talk he went quite and grabbed me, covering my mouth. We listened quitely as someone came down the stairs. They moved slow and heavy. Suddenly I thought of a towering centaur spinning a massive spear. I grabbed my head as a splitting headache tore through me. "Aghhhhh." The footsteps stopped, then they started walking towards us. As sudden as the pain came a cool hand touched my forehead. A calm I've never felt in my life swept through me. I felt as if I was asleep yet awake. I was.....clear headed. "Amphitrit". The hand went still and she moved away. The headache was gone but I felt as if I had lost something. She gripped my wrist with incredible strength. "How do you know that name!" I was worried how I knew that name myself but I didn't understand why she was scared of me. "I don't know. I uh don't know you but it just came to me. Thank you." But she was already gone. The stranger whistled to himself. "Man I didn't know you were a lady's man. You got her all flustered, nicely done lade. Not even paying attention to him I turned over. "I know her from somewhere. I wish I could just remember."
