Your heart has shattered
Laying at the bottom of your chest
In a million and one pieces
It feels like the end
That your whole world has crumpled
But your heart is resilient
Putting itself back together
Piece by piece
One million and one pieces
Finding it's way back into place
It may take awhile
It will probably feel as if
you are a walking zombie
Just going through life with lifeless eyes
Wearing a mask of a smiling face
But my dear
Those pieces will soon be fixed
And you'll wonder
Why you were so broken at the beginning
Why did it hurt so much
One day you won't feel the pain
And in that day
those one million and one pieces
Will be together again
And even stronger than before
For flaws and scars make us who we are
