Secret Singer (Infinite Fanfic)

Ch. 14

Suah's POV

 It was the day of the dance. I was super worried. I can't dance. What if Myungsoo thinks I'm a really bad dancer? Aigoo! My sister came inside my room.

 "Time to get ready!" she exclaimed.

 "It's not even close to night yet!"

 "It's 6:30. The dance starts at 7:30! You only have an hour to get ready! You have to do hair, make-up, and all that stuff. So hurry up!"

 "Alright then."

 I took a shower and put my dress on. My sister made my hair curly and did my make-up. Then I put on my mask and heels.

~HOUR LATER~

 "Perfect!" my sister exclaimed. "Let's go! It's 7:00!"

 I got into the car, and my sister and I drove off.

Myungsoo's POV

 My friends and I were already at the dance. My friends danced, but I waited for Suah. It was already 7:50. Where is she? I sat down and waited. Ten minutes passed. Then twenty. AISH! Where is she?! I went to the dessert table and grabbed a cup. I poured some punch inside and started drinking it. Then Woohyun and Sunggyu came.

 "Woo! Those girls can dance!" Woohyun said.

 "Where's Suah?" Sunggyu asked.

 "I don't know," I answered. Suddenly the music stopped and everyone was quiet. Then a spotlight shined on a girl standing on the stairs. She wore a short white dress with a white mask. 

 "Who is that?" Woohyun asked.

 Suah's POV

 A bright spotlight shined on me. Everyone was looking at me. I walked down the stairs. The music started playing again and people started dancing and talking. I saw Sungjong and the rest of Infinite. They were sitting down at a table in front of a stage. I forgot they were having a contest for the Secret Singer. Maybe I should join. So I went after the girl that was on the stage. Soon she went off and I went on. We had to sing Only Tears. I walked onto the stage and faced Infinite.

 "Hi! What's your name?" Sungjong asked. They didn't recognize me.

 "Um......"

 "Tell us your name after you sing," Sunggyu said.

 "Ok."

 The music started playing. I began to sing. Everyone was staring at me even Infinite. But where was Myungsoo? After I sang everyone clapped. I then ran off the stage.

 "Wait!" Sungjong yelled. He started to chase after me. I ran and ran. But suddenly someone grabbed my hand and pulled me outside into a little garden.  

 "Yah! What the heck?!" I yelled. I looked up and saw a guy. I looked into his eyes. Then he took off his mask. It was Myungsoo. He smiled at me.

 "Myungsoo," I said.

 "Hello," he replied.

 "Why did you-"

 "I saw you running away from Sungjong."

 "Oh."

 "What's your name?"

 "Um..... Kim GaYun."

 "Nice to meet you GaYun." Then Only Tears started playing from the speakers outside. Then Christmas lights turned on. It lit up the whole garden. I looked around with amazement. 

 "May I have this dance?" Myungsoo asked. He had his hand out. I took his hand and we started dancing. He pulled me near. His eyes were staring at mine. His smile was just...........amazing! Then he stopped dancing.

 "You're the Secret Singer, aren't you?" he said.

 "I....I-"

 "Don't lie. I know you are the one I've been looking for."

 I looked down feeling embarrassed. Then he pulled my mask off.

 "I knew it was you Suah," he said.

 "You caught me. I'm the Secret Singer," I replied.

 "Why didn't you tell me?"

 "Because I was afraid." 

 "I have one more question to ask you. Do you like me?"
