Sofia the First: The Crystal Curse

Sleepover

That evening, Hildegard arrived at Enchancia Castle for a sleepover with Amber. Sofia was going to join them for the sleepover, but because Hildegard was upset with her, she backed out.

Sofia was in her room, writing in her diary about what happened today when there was a knock on the door. "Who is it?" she called.

Amber and Hildegard entered. "It's Amber and Hildegard," Hildegard smiled. "What are you doing in here? You should be joining us."

"What's the point?" Sofia frowned. "It's for the best."

"Aw, Sofia, I got over it," Hildegard claimed. "It's your amulet, and if you can't take it off, that's fine with me."

"Are you sure?" Sofia asked. She knew that Hildegard couldn't be trusted at times, like when they were partners in art class to make an enchanted painting.

"Trust me," Hildegard begged.

"Okay," Sofia smiled.

Sofia joined Hildegard and Amber in the sleepover, and they were having fun. But during the whole sleepover, Hildegard kept eyeballing Sofia's amulet. It was already 10:45, and it was time to sleep. They were all going to sleep in the observatory.

"Well, we'd better get some sleep," Sofia yawned.

Each girl crawled into a bed, and they fell asleep.

But later that night, it turned out Hildegard was still awake. She was right beside Sofia's bed, eyeballing the Amulet. She knew Sofia wouldn't let anyone wear the Amulet, except Hugo. Hildegard still wanted a turn wearing the Amulet, and she wanted one so badly that she felt like she had no choice.

"Oh, Sofia, if you won't give me a turn, I'm just going to have to take one myself," Hildegard whispered to herself.

Hildegard started to reach for Sofia's amulet, but she couldn't bring herself to take it, especially after Sofia said no. Hildegard had stolen the Amulet once before, and Sofia was furious. She wondered what Sofia would say if it happened again.
