"you know, it's weird having you in the class. you're the only girl, so it's gonna take some time for us to adjust..." I said, looking at her as we walked together. she looked at me blankly but then smiled. "it's gonna take me some time to adjust well..." she chuckled.

"I don't know if you noticed yet, but I don't really have any friends. I have one, but he's not even in my class..." I chuckled. "I don't have any friends either, considering I've been here for like, half the day..." she laughed lightly, my eyes were stuck, just looking at that beautiful smile...

I smiled and turned to look at him, looking at me. we stared at each other for a split second before we both looked away. embarrassing... "uh, oh yea..." he stopped walking, and so did I. "this is the library, it's huge! also, during a free period, this is a great place to study," he said to me. it looked nice from the outside, maybe i could come here every now and then...

"can we go inside?" i asked. he smiled at me and replied, "of course! it's always open during school hours. go whenever you want!" this time, i caught myself staring at him smile. i shook my head, then nodded at him.

we entered the library, it was truly huge. there was 3 floors; first floor was a study hall type of area, and 2nd and 3rd were filled with books. since it was lunch time, not many kids were here. hyungseob grabbed my hand and pulled me to the stairs.

"come on, let's take a look around. it's your first time so i should show you around a bit..." I said, smiling at her. I took her up the stairs onto the second floor, where it was mainly fictional books, such as novels.

"wow, this is amazing... I've never seen such a huge library at a school..." she said, running her hand over the books. "I love reading... I might as well be up here the entire duration of school..." she chuckled.

her eyes were so bright, they shined like stars at night. I couldn't help but just look at them. she might think I'm weird though... I looked away and looked at the books, pulling out a book of poems.

I handed it to her, then said, "you should read these, they're amazing—"

"ooh I see little hyungseob found a friend. or is it a girlfriend?" I then heard someone close a book loudly. i flinched a bit, and saebyul jumped.

guanlin walked out from behind the shelf and started to laugh at my slightly red face. i gave him a glare and poked his stomach. "jesus, you're really annoying, you know that?" he just laughed at me and waved at saebyul, who waved back.

I didn't know what to say, so I stayed quiet, holding the book hyungseob had given me. this was quite embarrassing... I heard someone else and saw another figure come out from behind the shelf.

guanlin seemed a bit intimidated and moved aside for him. I saw the hair color and instantly recognized him; he was the boy with the dark red hair, the one guanlin called out for staring at me. I blushed a bit and kept my head down, slowly shuffling back.
