I walk back into the house. Lay my head on the door but my mood with back into slightly upset but neutral when I realized what just happened like 2 hours ago.

"Elijah come here a minute." My dad said. I started walking to the living room. My uncles look very upset and no lie I felt it was my fault.

"Are y'all mad at me." I said a little scared and sad/defeated. I had my head down.

"No baby brother I'm not mad." He got up to sit next to me and hug me.

"Look I understand why you was protecting him. I get that you didn't want me to get into any trouble even though uncle Kelvin is cop and aunt Jasmine is the top lawyer in the country. Plus I was so heated all I can think about was ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK. I wasn't thinking straight." He told me

"No, lie Isaac I was scared to come home, cause I know this would've happened."

"Yeah, I feel like I had to protect you since I fail you as a big brother." He got emotional.

I look at him confused. "No you haven't. Why do you feel like you fail me as a big brother?"

"Because look at what happened we don't have a close bond like brothers should have, and I can't protect you from nigga putting they hands on you."

"No, Isaac that was my fault. If I would've never cheated then none of that would've happened. I'm the one who failed to protect my baby boy from that shit and now I have to live with that for the rest of my life." My dad said with tears roll down his eyes.

Oh lord this is serious. None of man in my family have cried. I call that the black man syndrome. If you want know what that means that means that black man are not supposed to show any emotions or no weakness or else you are punk to society or just gay.

"Don't cry, It's okay look at me I'm happier now. I even change, I'm more out spoken, I got new friends what more could I ask for."

"Yeah, speaking of friends I seen you and Dre kissing what's up with that?" My brother said

My eyes got big. "Y'all seen all that."

"Yes, we did. What y'all doing to be kissing like that?"

"Kissing like what. It was just a friendly kiss that all."

"A friendly kiss A?" My dad said looking at me super suspicious. "Are y'all fucking."

I started chocking on my spit. "WHAT? No we are not having sex, one I'm virgin so I'm plan having sex no time soon trust me."

"No, why do you keep on asking me all these questions?"

"I just want to know who got my baby out here glowing like lights on Christmas."
