Jack POV

Daniel and Aria were outside for a while so I got up to check on them.

I saw them looking at each other, then Aria leaned in. My heart shattered.

"I love you Aria." I could feel an empty space in my heart. "I love you too."

I closed the door. Aria turned around and looked at me. I could tell she saw the pain in my eyes. "Wait, Jack!" Aria got up as I turned around and vamp ran to Jonah's room and locked the door.

I could hear Aria opening the door and running inside. Daniel following her.

I put my forehead on the door. "Dude? What's wrong?" Jonah softly asked me, he had just woken up by me.

I turned around and looked at him. "I'll get out. Just need to wait for them to go to bed." I tear fell down my cheek. I quickly wiped it off.

Jonah propped himself up on the bed to where he was now sitting. "Jack, tell me what has you crying."

"They-" I needed to punch something. All this anger and sadness piled into me. "They kissed."

He looked confused. "Who kissed?" I didn't want to talk about it anymore or I would get sadder and angrier. "Daniel and Aria!" My face changed. My white parts of my eyes now red. Veins under my eyes. Fangs showing.

I felt like I needed to hurt Daniel, but I couldn't do that. He is my brother. But he is my brother that stole Aria from me! I got madder.

"Jack, calm down. We can work this out." I looked at him straight in the eyes. I got more sad. My face changed back to normal. "How could he do this to me?"

All I feel is pain. Pain that I wasn't the one to kiss Aria first. Pain that I knew Aria loved him and that she would never feel the same love for me.

"I-I just need to wait." I heard their feet coming up the stairs. Slowing down near Jonah's room.

Then they started walking again and I heard the shut of the door down the hallway. "I'll go now." I turned and unlocked the door.

I slowly opened it, checking to see if anybody was in the hallway. No one. I turned back around to Jonah. "If I'm not back by 8am. Come find me.

I turned around and sped down the stairs and out the door. Closing it behind me.

All this anger pilled into me. I needed to feed. I sped to the mountains where we found Daniel. There were two people up there. A couple. Seeing this made me angrier. I could feel my face shifting. Fangs coming out.

I sped to them and pulled them away from their kiss. I grabbed the boy and bit into his neck.

The screams. Oh the screams. The sound that filled my mind, that haunts me forever.

I felt the last of his blood drip into my mouth. I pulled away, replenished. The girl stopped screaming and she stared at me, as a monster.

I slowly walked in front of her. Staring into her eyes. "Your going to say a mountain lion attacked your boyfriend and that you couldn't save him." She was scared.

"I will say a mountain lion attacked him and I couldn't save him." I smiled. "Good." My face shifted back.

"Wait, are you? Jack Avery?" I got surprised. "Y-no." I forgot one thing.
I looked into her eyes again. "You will not remember me being here."
