"i'm not getting on."

"yes you are."

"yes you are!"

"why do you want me to go with you?" keith asked, crossing his arms.

"because babe, me and you, forever." lance said with a wink.

keith felt his face burn up slightly, he cursed himself silently for it. "i am definitely not getting on that thing with you."

"please." lance begged, a pout on his face.

keith looked away quickly and shook his head. "no, lance."

lance placed his hands on Keith's cheeks similar to the way keith did in the ferris wheel. he moved his face so that his dark blue eyes were lined up with keith's purple ones. "please?"

keith felt his face go hot as he tried to look anywhere but lance's eyes. he closed his eyes and let out a sigh. "fine." he murmured.

lance grinned and let out of keith's face pumping his fist into the air. "yes!" he said with a smile.

keith pursed his lips together, and for the second time within the minute he cursed himself silently. lance was just really cute, and he couldn't help it. he sighed and reluctantly got onto the ride. shiro and allura had just gotten off saying how wonderful and romantic it was, shiro shooting a grin at keith who just rolled his eyes.

"it's not that long, but it does pause at some points, and there's a kiss cam so make sure to kiss for the camera! bye!" shiro said, quickly stated the last bit of information right before the ride took off.

"wait, what?!" keith yelled as the ride started, regretting even taking one step in this amusement park. lance just let out a small laugh and sat back in the seat, it was a really calm and slow-ish ride. keith placed his hands on his face and groaned in frustration and embarrassment.

"don't worry babe, i swear, i'm a good kisser~" he said with a slight purr to his voice, winking playfully at keith.

keith felt his face blow up in redness as he looked away from lance quickly. "idiot, i am not gonna kiss you."

"but this is a couples ride keith~"

"we aren't a couple lance!" keith said quickly. it was true, as much as he wanted to be a couple, lance was just playing around with the whole babe thing, well, that's what keith had around in his thoughts.

"well we could be." lance said in a low voice, before opening his mouth again and looking over at keith. "shit." he muttered, he didn't mean to say that out loud.

"what?" keith asked. he thought he had heard lance say that they could be a couple, seriously, but he just wanted to make sure he was hearing right and his mind wasn't going that crazy for lance.

"nothing..." lance said, trailing off.

"what!? fuck no, lance, you said something!" keith persisted on.

"it was nothing important keith! nothing!"

keith pursed his lips together and furrowed his eyebrows. "you said that we could be." he stated simply.

"keith it- i was just- i mean, it-" lance said, repeatedly trying to start a new sentence but ultimately failing.

"what did you mean." keith murmured.

"what?"

"what did you mean?" he stated a little louder, his eyes now looking up at lance.

lance huffed, his dark blue eyes looking down and away. "god-fucking-damnit... look, keith, just forget i said it. it-we're a joke, okay?"

"we're a joke? yeah, i know that. you've made that abundantly clear lance! we're two friends joking around right?" he said, his tone of voice becoming a lot more angry then he wanted.

"yes! yeah, you're right!" lance stated back. the two were silent now, the air filled with tension.

keith inhaled a deep breath, he knew it was a joke but still. what did he mean by they could be? was it just another joke to lance? it was starting to hurt now, and he didn't like it. he shouldn't have gotten on the damn ride. why was he so weak?

"sorry."

"there you go again with the apologizing! what did i saw before lance!" keith said with an exasperated sigh, turning to look at him.

lance rolled his eyes. "i told you i was gonna be annoying! you were the one that said that you still wanted to be my friend! i am a complicated human being keith, you should've just run when you had the chance."

"well i didn't okay? because i actually started to care!" he snapped back, letting a sigh pass his lips and shaking his head. "and to think, i actually care, why? who the fuck knows? why couldn't i have liked someone simpler." he groaned, placing his hand over his face.

"you like me?" lance asked, processing what keith said.

"yes, lance. i like you! a whole fucking lot too! and i have no idea why-" keith started mumbling, but lance cut in.

"i like you too." he stated simply.

keith almost had a heart attack, like he hadn't heard him right. he sat upright and looked over at lance, confusion swirling around in his eyes. "what?" he asked.

"i said." he paused. "i like you too."

"holy shit."

"what?"

"pidge was fucking right again! that little shit-" keith murmured talking about how pidge just had to have some sort of telepathic powers or something.

lance looked at keith, his eyes lit up and he started to laugh. keith looked over at lance, more confusion just hitting him in the face.

"what?" he said in a question like tone.

"pidge, of course. i can't believe that they knew, and you like me? and we are just this stupid??" lance said in between his laughs.

keith let out a short laugh and rolled his eyes. "yeah, we are pretty dumb." he hummed. "but hold on, how long have you liked me? cause i just realized on the ferris wheel how much i fucking fell for your stupid ass."

"wow, thanks keith." lance muttered sarcastically. "well, i kind of started to think about it back when i went to your apartment late at night. i realized how much i wanted to confide in you, and that i actually started to like you." he shrugged slightly.

keith smiled lightly, a light redness starting to dust over his cheeks. lance looked down slightly, his face red as well. he had his hand on his face in embarrassment. both couldn't believe each other or themselves. keith looked up, and saw a sign that read, 'kiss cam ahead' he raised his eyebrow and smirked slightly.

"hey lance." he called for the tanned male.

"hmm?" he hummed looking up at keith.

and in a second without any other words, keith's lips were on lances lips.
