Finding My Queen (Jenlisa)

Chapter Two

Bump

It's been days since Lisa arrived, she didn't do anything aside from reading. If there is one thing that Lisa loves to do, that is to read. She stays in her library when she had the chance to read.

"Mum, no need to send tons of body guard. V is enough." Lisa tried to convince her mother

She concluded that it's a good idea to have some fun outside. Her plan ruined when her mother insisted to send tons of body guard with her.

"Just five body guards. I don't want to..."

"Yeah, yeah. Right. They should be five meters away from me and V." Lisa cut her mother off, she knows that her mother won't surrender

"V, prepare the car. You're going to drive." Lisa instructed her butler before turning her heels around

"Madam, your mother will..."

"I don't care. I want to eat burger. It's been months the last time I ate that greasy food." Lisa spoke opening the door of the fast food chain

Her mum made a special diet for her since Lisa was fat when she was young. The last thing that Mrs. Manoban wants to see again was to see her only daughter being bullied. That was why Mrs. Manoban always make sure that Lisa is eating properly.

The people inside the place looked at the slender and beautiful teenager with a good looking black handsome guy behind her.

Lisa ignored the stares. The whispers. She just want a burger.

"Madam, maybe it's better if you take a seat and.."

"No, I'll fall in line. Just wait for me out side. Don't try to argue with me, you won't win."

V sighed in defeat. There's no room to contradict his master.

Lisa patiently fall in line. She wants to be treated normal. She's tired from the special treatment she's getting in their house.

"Good day, ma'am. May I take your order, please?" The crew asked her politely

"Two large burger with fries and two diet coke." Lisa ordered while openning her purse

"Take out or dine in, ma'am?"

"Take out, please."

She handed her credit card to the polite crew. She can't wait to taste the burger she's been craving for.

After three minutes of waiting, Lisa's order finally came in a brown bag.

She excitedly took the bag and said "Thank you." To the crew who assisted her

Lisa was busy checking the food she orders while walking towards to clear door. Someone bumped with her causing Lisa brown bag to fall.

She groaned at the site of her drinks spilled on the floor and her precious burger.

The crew quickly ran towards them and started to clean up the spilled drinks.

"We're just going to replace your food, ma'am." Said the crew

Lisa bites her lip and nodded "Please, make it quick."

The incident caused to gain more attention of the people around her. She hates when people stare at her. It's like they are going to judge and insult her.

"I'm really sorry, Ms."

Lisa froze. Her heart skipped a beat.

She slowly looked at the person who spoke and caused her heart to skip a beat.

A beautiful brunette girl, about her age stood in front of her. She can't be mistaken. She glanced at the girl's eyes. Cat doe eyes. Yes, it's Jennie who is standing in front of her. She found her Queen.

Jennie eyes widen in surprise "Li.. Lisa? Is that you?"

Lisa blinked rapidly, still in daze. Before she can even say a word someone spoke.

"Madam, is there any problem here?"

Lisa looked at the masculine man stood beside her then back to the girl who she bumped with. The girl she's been looking for.

The crew came "This is your food, ma'am. We are truly sorry for the inconvience." Said the crew after handing the brown bag

Lisa didn't pay attention to the crew, she's having a staring contest with her ex-best friend.

V took the bag instead and said "Thank you" before turning his attention back to his master "Madam."

She's in front of me now, Ms. Kendall. What should I do now? Ms. Kendall. If Lisa can only ask the brunet now.

Lisa lowered her gaze. She should do something but don't know what to do.

It's not time yet. She thought

She shook her head before confidently look at her butler "I just bumped with someone. Let's go."

Lisa and V left the fast food chain, leaving Jennie dumbfounded. Jennie didn't expect Lisa to be there. Lisa left millions of question inside Jennie's mind.

Lisa.. I'm sorry.

Jennie wanted to say those words to Lisa before she left but didn't get the chance. She wants to ask for her best friend's forgiveness.

"Lisa and her family are thieves. They stole billions of money from our company." Jennie's father voice rang in her mind

"I should hate you." She whispered, looking at Lisa's retreating back "But, I can't."

V keep on glancing at his master. Since they got out from the fast food chain, Lisa seems so lost in her own world. She didn't even eat her burger instead she gave it to V.

They just keep on walking until they reached the fountain located on the middle of the plaza park.

"V, you remember the first time you saw me in my father's house back abroad. What was the first thing that came into your mind?" Lisa spoke for the first time

V remembered the day when Lisa arrived at Mr. Manoban's mansion, a little chubby girl got out from the limo, looking around, looking so lost in her new environment. But V didn't miss the smile that Lisa plastered when she saw him standing next to his father.

"I don't know really but.. I remember your smile when you saw me. When they are talking about you, I remember the smile of little chubby girl."

"Chubby..." she murmured "That's the reason I need to go abroad.." she groaned "Enough of this talk. Let's just go home."
