"Would you rather like to talk outside? I didn't know that the basketball team have practice today." Lisa asked the subtitute teacher as soon as they stepped inside the gymnasium
"You're taking me into a date, how fast." Kendall chuckled, observing the bastketball team
"I thought that I'm with Rośe the moment you said that. Let's go outside?"
They begun to walk outside the noisy gymnasium.
"Do you want to go where it all started?" Kendall asked when they are finally in the parking lot
"To the playground? You really love playing, huh?"
Kendall opened the door for Lisa "Only with my wife." She said before closing the door behind

As they stepped out the car, Lisa and Kendall went straight and sat down to the same bench they sat before.
"You can drop your questions now." Kendall begun, not looking at her companion instead she's watching the kids on the playground
"Before that, I want to tell you something first. Did you know that I always dream about you? About what you told me? About my promise? It's haunting me, you're haunting me, that is why I need to go back here and find Jennie, because that's what I promised you, to be friends with her again."
"I'm sensing a 'but'?"
"But we can't be friends anymore because we're not just even friends from the start. I remember having a crush on her when we were young, I treated her like my Queen. Now, why did you ask me to be friends with her? Why?"
"It was strange that you dream about that day but didn't you realize that it's not me that caused that dream? It was you who wants to dream that event. your heart wants to remind you that you have a life left here. Your life with Jennie. It's not the promise that your heart wants to remember, it's Jennie." Kendall sighed "That day, when we played here, Jennie was looking at us, jealousy was obvious in her eyes, the same look she gave us this morning. The way she looks at you, that's the same way I look at my wife."
"You still not answered my question. You made me confuse even more." Lisa let out a stress sigh, running her hand through her dirty blond hair
"To tell you the truth, it's for you to find out, I don't want you to do things just because I told you to. You just have to read between the lines. And always choose her. Be friends with her, things will always follow."
"This is crazy. You told me that you'll answer my question but you even made me more puzzle."
"Just like what I've told you, read between the lines. I already answered your question." Kendall stood up "It's time to go home."

Lisa keeps on tossing and turning in her queen size bed, she can't sleep. She wants to understand what Kendall told her.
"didn't you realize that it's not me that caused that dream? It was you who wants to dream that event."
"It was me who wants to dream that event, but why?" Lisa groaned, burrying her face against her soft white pillow
"The way she looks at you, that's the same way I look at my wife."
Lisa's breath hitched in her throat. She briskly sat up and turned her head around, staring at the portrait of her and Jennie.
They looked so innocent and happy in the portrait. Arms wrapped around each other's shoulder, Jennie's other hand was pinching Lisa's cheek, smiling lively at the camera.
"Is it possible that you have feelings for me too? But you have a boyfriend.." Lisa said to their portrait
"You're so special to me, Lisa...God knows how much I ache, itch and want to be with you."
"Special.. a special friend or..." Lisa let out a stress groan again "Jennie..."
"Out here, Lisa." Someone spoke
Lisa startled. It's impossible that someone have broke inside their mansion.
"Lisa, here." A knock came from somewhere "Balcony."
Lisa turned her gaze to the balcony, a human figure was standing behind the tinted sliding door.
Lisa's heart went wild, like a tiger wants to free from it's cage. She can't be mistaken.
"Jennie?" Lisa spoke in a low voice
"Yes, damn it. Lisa, open this gooddamn door, it's freaking cold here." Jennie complained, trying to open the door
Lisa got up from her bed and unlocked the sliding door.
Jennie was wearing a faded denim jeans, blue shirt and white sneakers. Simple outfit but she still look like a queen.
"Finally!" Jennie celebrate, stepping inside the room "Close the door, Lisa."
Lisa absentmindedly did what Jennie told her. She's still confuse to the sudden appearance of the goddess.
Jennie looked around the room, observing every detail.
"Nothing changed. I told you, there are some things that constant." Jennie said, she then stared at the portrait hangging above the headboard, the same portrait that Lisa was staring at awhile ago "I still have mine too, I'm glad that you kept my gift."
"Why are you here, Jennie?" Lisa spoke for the first time
Jennie laid down on Lisa's bed, spreading her arms like she owns it "I'm here for you." She sat up and started to take off her shoes "I'm going to sleep, by the way. I missed your bed." She said casually
Lisa stared at the goddess in amusement. Jennie laid herself again but this time she covered her body under the soft and warm blanket.
"Lisa, what are you doing there? Come here, cuddle with me." Jennie said like it's just a normal thing to say, patting the space next to her
Lisa sighed, she's too exhausted to argue with the goddess. Slowly, she slipped herself under her blanket, beside Jennie.
"I made my decision, I want to keep you." Jennie said
Lisa didn't answer, waiting for Jennie to continue.
"Just make sure to protect yourself, to protect us." Jennie cuddled closer to Lisa, putting her head against Lisa's chest "For once, I want to do want makes me happy, you're my happiness, Lisa. I want to be brave, I want to fight for us. I'm willing to sacrifice everything, just to be with you. I'm so sick and tired fighting this feeling." Jennie looked up at Lisa with teary eyes "Please, choose me."
Lisa bite her lower lip to hold her tear "Jen, how can't I choose you when there is no even other option in the first place? It's been always you." She leaned down and planted a loving kiss on Jennie's forehead "I always choose you."
"I missed this, laying next to you." Jennie hugged Lisa even more "You're still warm."
"What will happen tomorrow? How about Jungkook?"
Lisa's question made both of them silent.
"I'll break up with him tomorrow. Promise me to hold my hand while I'm doing it. I need you to be there." Jennie spoke after the long silence
Though Kendall didn't directly answer her question, Lisa understand now what this is all about, it's all about going back to where you're suppose to be, her life with Jennie.
