Chapter five

The kiss

"V, I forgot to fetch my book from my locker. Go ahead, I'll just get it."

"Don't you want me to go with you? We can get it together." Unsure to his master wants to do

Lisa shook her head "Relax, I'll be fine. Just wait for me in the parking lot."

V nodded "Okay, just be careful. Call me if something happened, okay?"

Lisa giggled at her butler's protectiveness "Yes, I will."

Lisa opened her locker to get her physics book "Such a forgetful lady you are, Lisa." She scolded herself which made her giggle

When she's walking back she saw her ex-best friend running. Her eyes followed the goddess.

She unconciously followed the goddess, she needs to know what happened to her Queen.

She saw Jennie entered a classroom, she followed her, when she closed the door behind, she saw her Queen, sitting in the corner, crying while hugging her knees.

"Why are you here? Leave me alone!" Jennie shouted at the concern Lisa

Lisa thought that maybe it's not a good idea to follow Jennie here.

"I'm sorry." She turned around and twisted the knob but it didn't stir

Her eyes widen as she tried to open the door again, didn't worked.

"What's the problem?"

Lisa gulped and faced Jennie "We're locked."

"You can at least talk to me, you know? Didn't you miss your best friend?" Jennie said, sitting in one of the corner of the room, hugging her knees

The blonde just keep her mouth shut still trying to unlock the goddamn door.

It's been three painful hours since they are locked up in there. Lisa doesn't know why she followed the crying Jennie and ended locked up with her.

"You're just wasting your energy there, we are lock in here!" Jennie tried to talk to the blonde again

Lisa glared at her "Mind your own business."

"Finally! You talked!" Jennie clapped her hands, standing up "You know what, you're playing so mysterious." She said walking towards the other girl "Tell me, why are you here?"

Lisa stared at the cat doe eyes in front of her. She missed those orbs, those orbs that reminds her of the past. The unwanted past. She wanted to run away but she remembered her promise.

Lisa made a brave move by stepping closer to Athena "I'm here to get what is suppose to be mine." Lisa whispered to Jennie's ear which gives the latter goose bumps all around her body

Jennie cleared her throat nervously "I.. I don't know what you're talking about." She turned around to breathe some air "You're a crazy girl."

Lisa sighed and rested her shoulder against the door, crossing her arms "Do you still want to talk?"

Jennie went to her former place and leaned her back against the wall "What about?" She asked staring down at her feet like theres something wonderful to stare

Lisa observed the goddess, just looking at goddess' eyes she knows that she's nervous "Anything, you start."

"Why did you follow me here?"

Why? Lisa asked herself

Lisa can't accept the reality that she really cares for the goddess. She care for her best friend.

"I don't know." Indenial Lisa said "Maybe I'm just curious when I saw you crying, that's why I followed you here."

Jennie nodded "If you're just going to lie at me, let's just stop talking. I hate liers."

Lisa shrugged not affected at the goddess antics "If you don't want to believe me, it's up to you. You're still stubborn. It's time for me to ask. Why are you crying? Don't try to lie, you're just going to hate yourself."

Jennie stiffened.

"It's none of your business." Jennie said, avoiding the topic

"I'm not going to stop until you tell me the real reason." Lisa said smirking

The two girls remained silent, no one wants to speak again. Lisa, she's waiting for the goddess to answer. Jennie, she's batteling her own self if she will tell the girl the truth or not.

"I.. I saw my boyfriend and my best friend lip locking." Jennie finally said

Lisa's expression changed. She looked at the girl with sympathy while her heart is breaking into pieces. She failed to protect her Queen.

"Don't look at me like that, I'm not pathetic." Jennie said though she didn't look at the other girl

"I know you are not. You are the Queen of this school, why are you letting that douchebag to hurt you? Your family own this school, you can practically kick him out."

Jennie let out a stressful sigh "It's not that easy, Jungkook's family are one of the founder of this school."

Lisa stood up staight and went beside her queen "Just punish him, if that so."

"I can't. I love him."

Lisa's heart sunk. She feels like someone stabbed her heart a million times. It's like she's having a hard time to breathe.

"Unlove him." Lisa said before smashing her lips with her Queen.

Jennie's eyes widen in surpise, she tried to push Lisa but it just made Lisa to move closer to her.

"Unlove him." Lisa repeated, still kissing Jennie's lips

Jennie gave up, closing her eyes, she kissed back with more gusto. Lips gliding against each other. Jennie snaked her arms around Lisa's waist and pulled her closer to her. Lisa bit Jennie's lower lip and took the opportunity slid her tongue inside the goddess mouth. Their tongue dance in sync.

"Lisa, are you there?"

They stopped. Lisa stepped back, still in daze. It's Lisa's first kiss. She touched her lips.

Jennie is breathing heavily while glancing at the lady in front of her.

"Lisa.." she uttured

"Lisa! Where are you?"

Lisa bit her lower lips before shouting "V! I'm here! Please, open the door."

"Lisa, let's talk." Jennie tried to reach for Lisa's hand

She wants an explanation to what happened to them. Why did they kiss? Why Lisa kissed her?

The door swang open, a worried V came in and rushed to his master.

"Madam, are you alright?"

Lisa downcast her head, afraid to meet Jennie's eyes "Yes. Let's go."

They left the room, leaving Jennie behind again.
