I'm getting worried. I don't know what to do.

Should I go to these places?

What if she's there?

That's where I'm heading.

I take the keys to my car and head off.

It takes me 25 minutes and I start pulling into the empty part of town where the road is dirt now.

I park and head into the lot.

As I walk into the office, I see an old friend there.

"Hey Hayes!" Jared says.

He was one of my best pals when I was a nerd.

"Hey, I was wondering if you can do me a favor?" I ask.

"Here you go," he says dropping the keys in my hand, "we close at 8." And with that he pats my back and heads back to the office.

Anything could be in this storage locker.

I put the key in and twist.

I lift up the garage type door and get disappointed at what I see.

Just a bunch of boxes.

I open a few and see football stuff and clothes.

I move a stack of boxes to find a twin sized bed.

Is someone living here?

I look through more and find a white shirt with blood and a baseball bat with blood.

I start to worry.

I get out of there as fast as I can.

I get into my truck and start driving.

I pump my inhaler, I can't breathe at the moment.

As I pull into my drive thru, I see detectives at my house and at Layla's.

I walk into the house and one detective asks if he could go upstairs with me.

As we enter the room the detective asks, "what were you guys talking about on the day she disappeared?"

"Stuff." I reply.

"Look, your friend here is missing. Give me what you know and we will try to find her." He says with a stern look.

"I asked her why.... um why she didn't want to kiss me.." I slowly end.

He nods and looks at me for me.

"I confessed my feelings... and when it didn't go right... I went off on how horrible she is.."

"Mm." He says writing something down.

"I'm sorry to hear that." He gets up and pats my back and leaves.

I sit there in silence for a bit.

What do I do..
