AVOX II (Chapter 4)
"Annie!!" Finnick ran after her.
"Let go Finnick-"
"This is not like what you think!!" He said loud.
"Oh, so what's your story now?" Annie faced him in her teary face.
"So you have been dating with an Avox while I'm gone? Is it true Finnick??!"
"NO!" Finnick shouted.
"It's not like what you think!!" He exclaimed.
"Then explain!" She says.
"I..." Finnick breathes heavily.
"I can't." He finally said.
Annie looked at him in anger and said,
"I should have listened to people. That you are just a player. I hate you, I hate you!!" She pushed him down and left in tears. I slowly walk to Finnick and helped him up.
"T..thanks" He said.
I made a face as if saying i'm so so sorry.
"No, don't be sorry. It's not your fault. Besides, she was just being emotional because she's been through things. I know she wasn't really mad." Finnick smiles.
I smile back, and my eyes suddenly caught two peacekeepers walking in this corridor. I looked at Finnick and made a face as if saying 'I gotta go', and I did. I quickly ran to the Avox room,when a Peacekeeper blocked my way and grabbed my hand.
"Come." He said in a low voice.
"President Snow has been waiting for you." He continued.
I was called by President Snow?
What did I do this time?
