WHAM!

"Dammit girl tell us how the heck you guys pulled it off!"

The detective yelled this as his hands slammed down on the table causing everyone in the room to jump​, everyone but the fiery red headed girl Stella Runes seated across from the bellowing man.

Stella rolled her eyes at his little outburst. Emphasis on little because after years of being screamed at by her strict step father and taunted by her older step brother she had simply lost the ability to be afraid when confronted by angry men.

She looked him dead in the eye when she spoke after a short pause " I don't know what you're talking about " his eyes widened in shock at the obvious lack of intimidation by him that she demonstrated but hid it quickly; not before sharp Stella saw it though she grinned on the inside in satisfaction before smiling sweetly "May I also suggest that you chew a mint or a piece of gum or something? Cause if you're going to be yelling in my face and breathing all over me i do not appreciate that tuna breath ".

Everyone but the smiling girl tensed up as Detective Barry turned a bright shade of red. A telltale sign of suppressed anger. Then he let out a deep breath and announced to the room "Well obviously this interrogation is over we're not going to get anything out of her". He took a step back from the table and started walking in the direction of the door. Once he reached it he turned back and gave her a challenging look "And by the way don't feel too smug and count this as a victory. You may be hard to crack but I'll have the rest of your friends singing like canaries " Swallowing her worry Stella gave him a sly smile "Be seeing you Detective"

"This is a quite a large shop so there will be 3 other people cleaning with you" Peter Smith the owner of Smith Janitorial said as he gave Stella a tour "You could all work on one section and then go on to the next one and the next one " he explained pointing at each section "Or you could each take 1 section finish cleaning it and be done... I know they've opted for 1 section each but with a new addition they might be open to trying something new" "No i'm good with the one section" she said quickly "I do my best work alone" "Ok good then i'll show you the supply closet where we have cleaning things " she nodded and followed him meekly.
