This wasn't the first time Chloe was being interviewed by detectives so she was able to maintain a calm facade. In fact if she was going to be completely honest with herself this wasn't going to be the last time she would be interviewed either , she'd probably be interviewed by lots of detectives and eventually get thrown into jail ; till that day however she had no intention of being a "good little nerd "
"So what you're telling me is that you don't know what I'm talking about? " said a voice to her right shaking her out of her small day dream. She'd been imagining herself in orange and had decided she'd need to dye her hair black to make it work "Yes that's exactly what I'm saying detective"
creak
Chloe watched as the detective got up and walked to grab some filesThud Thud Thud
She jumped a little as a bunch of envelops were thrown onto the table in front of her. She knew what they were. To stall a little she pretended to be more startled than she actually was. Clutching a hand to her heart she glared at him "Gosh give a girl a heart attack won't ya? This isn't the 1950s you won't get away with brutality" He ignored her statement and pointed at the documents instead "You know what those are?"
Silence
"Those are all unsolved cases that you've been involved in since you were 16" she stared at him blankly " Do you know what they all have in common?" " I was found to be innocent in each case? "she quizzed the detective rolled his eyes at her "No" he hissed before he continued "In... Every... Single... Case... You claimed to not know anything as well" With every word he plopped a folder unto the table "Care to explain how you were involved but had no role?"
Silence
"I'll take that as a no, so I'll ask again Ms Sanchez there has been some inconsistencies with the Loubitton computer system for about 2 months.... care to explain? "
Yes I hacked into the system- piece of cake honestly was like taking candy from a sleeping baby she thought but out loud:
"No sir like I said I know nothing. I just clean " she replied solemnly giving him her most innocent face.
Even she could tell he wasn't fooled so she went on "Not to sound conceited or be inappropriate or anything but take a good look at me detective ok? " he looked at her " I'm hot and I get asked out a whole lot. I don't have the time or the smarts to get into people's devices. I'm wayy too busy trying to keep half the town's male population out of my pants "
With a sigh he sat down and sat on the chair across from her after a few moments of looking at her intently he spoke
"Fine then Ms Sanchez but know that this time you aren't going to be found innocent. I'm going to make sure I get to the bottom of this mystery" and gave her the "I swear it on my sweet grandmother's grave " lookFor the first time in her 22 years of life Chloe really wished she had chosen to be a good little nerd instead.

"No i'm good with the one section" Chloe heard the new girl hurriedly reply "I do my best work alone" she understood the sentiment cause she felt the same way -even if it was for a different reason. Sometimes cleaning the same place everyday got boring so she decided to give herself a little job while she cleaned- mess with Christian Loubitton's computer system.
That could only be accomplished however if she worked on her own private section because she couldn't risk the other girls finding out. She strongly doubted that they'd be able to decipher the computer language she used or even tell on her but she preferred to err on the side of caution cause she was a firm believer that a person could never be too careful .
It took her a whole 10 minutes to hack into the system and see all of the stores files including sales and bank accounts. Every piece of information about the store lay bare and exposed before her. She never connected to anyone's wifi, free or not, she instead had a network provider for her faux phone; a phone she kept for her friends and work. This phone was used to basically keep the "blond pretty but not so smart girl " image she presented. It included her appointments with animal shelters where she volunteered, texts from boys and google searches like "How hot are you quizzes" and other things she felt comfortable sharing with the world.
Her real phone and laptop on the other hand virtually didn't exist. She'd stripped them off all forms of tracking location or otherwise identifying signatures they had so they couldn't be traced to her, in addition to that she made her own path to the internet and other connection services so that phone and Wifi companies wouldn't have her information.
With a smile she quietly downloaded all the information to her "ipod" and began making mental plans to hack into the computer system of the mall itself.
