He held me by the waist, our chests touching. With one hand he reached down and cupped my right cheek, he tilted my head slightly upwards and gently pushed his lips to mine.
It's finally time, I start school today. I grab some clothes and quickly get dressed, I wanted to dress comfortable because today I'll have to dance to audition for the school dance group. I feel a little more confident because Luke gets to have a vote whether I should join and he said he'd vote for me. I curled my hair, grabbed my phone and headed down to get some breakfast. I headed to the kitchen and I was the first one there besides Jessie and Bertram. "So, are you excited for today?" Jessie asks as Bertram hands me a plate. "I'm more nervous than anything, I mean I'm the new kid." I informed her while eating my food. "Well at least you know some people and you don't have to be alone all day." She comforted me and I smiled.
One by one everyone came down the stairs and ate their breakfast and in no time I was grabbing my backpack and we were heading into the elevator to go to school. We waited outside the building for the bus, Zuri's bus came first and she waved goodbye to us before going inside.
Our bus pulled up not long after and we headed inside. Emma ran to the middle of the bus and sat down next to a girl with dark hair and she was wearing leather. I didn't think Emma would want to associate with her, who knew.
Ravi sat at the front behind the driver next to some kid with braces and glasses. A bunch of guys that sat at the back of the bus started calling out Luke's name and gesturing for him to sit down with them. Luke shook his head no and sat down in an empty seat and patted for me to sit next to him. I thanked him and sat down, we talked the whole bus ride and soon we pulled up outside the school.
We went in and got our schedules for the year, me and Luke were in the same grade and luckily we had every class together besides history and science. I had the dance audition after lunch and first class was math. Luke and I walked to class, I took a seat in the classroom and he sat next to me.
In math it consisted of me doing my work, and Luke drawing super heroes all over his copy. His drawing face was really cute, his eyebrows were furrowed in concentration and his tongue stuck out a little at the corner of his mouth.
The day flew up until lunch, this is where I'm gonna get nervous. I got my tray of food and Luke guided me over to a desk with three boys and one girl. The girl was really pretty, she had light brown skin and poker straight black hair. She wore an oversized shirt and a grey beanie. The only familiar face was Finch the blonde guy from that day at the park.
"What's up guys?" Luke greeted as he sat down next to a guy and I sat next to him. "Guys, this is Lia, Lia this is Charlotte, Ian, Todd, and you've already met Finch." Luke introduced me and pointed to everyone as he said their name. I waved and they all murmured a chorus of 'hi's' and 'hey's'.
"She's hot, how'd you know her?" Todd smirked at me and Luke shot him a look. "She's staying with me and my family, she's my nanny's younger sister." Luke informed them. "Woah. You're living with a hot girl who's your age. You got mad game bro." Ian laughed at him, he rolled his eyes.
