Castiel's POV
*Alarm goes off*
I groan and moan as I turn off my alarm. I sit up in bed, rub the sleep from my eyes, and start getting ready.

I walk to the bathroom, strip off my pajamas, and hop in the shower. Once I'm done with the shower I grab a towel and dry myself off. Then, I go into my room and pick out my outfit for the day.

A black pair of jeans, a black v-neck t-shirt, and my black leather jacket. For my shoes I wear my black Converse.

I walk back to the bathroom and brush my teeth. After brushing my teeth, I walk back into my room and spray some cologne. Once I'm all ready I grab my black backpack and go downstairs.

I grab an apple for breakfast and leave the house.

I live by myself. My dad died of a heart attack a year ago and my mom walked out on us when I was five.

Even though it can get lonely from time to time at least I have friends that I can invite over. Two of which I'll see today. My other friends go to a different school.

I take out a cigarette and light it. I start to reminisce about when my dad was alive. He was the best person to be around. He always had a smile on his face and would always make me smile, even if I was fuming with anger.

We never fought but we did have some arguments here and there. I would always pester him about quitting smoking and he would pester me about my clothing choices. Saying that I needed to add a little color to my style. Even back then all I would wear was black.

I sigh and finish the cigarette before walking into the double door of the school.

Kansas High School. Where the last two year of my life have been absolute hell. In my freshman year I was bullied because I chubby and had glasses. Then, last year I got bullied because I was a scrawny nerd with glasses. But, this year, that all ends. I've changed my appearance and wear contacts now. I'm no longer the chubby kid that everyone can throw around or make fun of anymore. During the summer I started lifting weights so now I'm more muscular than these past two years.

I wasn't going to have a repeat of what happened in the past. I just wasn't going to do it.

This year will be MY year!
